40mg prednisolone - one dose or spread over day?

Currently taking 40mg pred once a day but wondering if I can split the doses?

How do depomedrone injections for PMR work? I guess they are slow-release somehow. Do you still get morning stiffness with them, I wonder?

I went to see Professor Dasgupta yesterday and it appears that I don't actually have PMR after all.

So, after a year on steroids, that have not been necessary,and 20 months in pain, I have to get off them and find some other forms of pain relief. I am angry...

How does one reduce pred doses by less than 1mg when, to the best of my knowledge the min dose of pred is 1mg, please excuse my ignorance.

Or does one have to cut the tablets, if so how do you achieve the accurate correct dose.
