Dear Members,

I hope that you are keeping well and safe.

In these extraordinarily testing times we all need to be kinder to eachother and to understand that what ever we may see in print, lots of things are going on behind in people’s lives that we are not aware of. We all have different views on things, which is perfectly acceptable but does not warrant any unkind or inflammatory posts and replies.

As you are all aware we have set up a specific COVID-19 daily post, where any discussion on COVID-19 for the day can be discussed, and as you will see there is a trail of posts from previous days that you can read if you need to. All discussion on COIVD-19 should be placed there. If you forget, please do not take offence if one of our Moderators asks you to move it. It really is to ensure that the daily conversations on PMR and GCA do not get lost. As mentioned by our Moderators, they are not experts on COVID-19 and if you need more advice, I would look at the BSR (British Society for Rheumatology) or the Vasculitis Arthritis website. Our Moderators are trying, in this time that please remember is hard for us all, to manage the forum.

If anyone has been upset by anything that has been said, please accept my apologies. We all need some patience and not to react immediately. If you have any issues with another member, a Moderator or us please do message each other privately, and include either me or Fran_Benson in your conversation. We will not get involved with the conversation unless you want to or unless we feel we should, and we are able to do so with the right information. If you have any other issues you are more than welcome to message us both too.

We want to support you all and we want our HealthUnlocked forum to be a safe space for everyone.
