I was diagnosed in 2011 with PBC. Started with Questran. Then given UrsoFalk - which made my itching much worse. So gave up taking it.

Am now trying again with UrsoFalk, this time building up the dosage to 3 tablets a day; now 10 days in and on 2 tablets per day. Still itching but not as much...
