"Dr Ronan Kavanagh's nicely readable overview of diagnosing arthritis and the role of disease markers and blood tests for inflammation levels. This is a nice compilation for anyone wondering about seronegative blood test results or curious about some statistics for various classifications. . . . "
A visual summary of the 4 most frequently used DMARDs, including recommended monitoring & conditions that may interfere with treatment:
1 • Methotrexate (MTX)
2 • Leflunomide (LEF)
3 • Sulphasalazine (SSP)
4 • Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ)
.
"Symptoms of inflammatory arthritis are often controlled in the long term using DMARDs (disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs).
These are usually initiated by rheumatologists, with patients commonly taking two or sometimes three DMARDs simultaneously.
This graphic shows information about four of the most frequently prescribed DMARDs, including recommended monitoring and other conditions that could interfere with treatment."
For simple, practical purpose, no difference, Graceusha1.
"Inflammatory arthritis" is merely an umbrella ☂ term, which "Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)" falls under:
• Arthritis Research UK: arthritisresearchuk.org/art..."Inflammatory arthritis is a term used to describe a group of conditions which affect your immune system. This means that your body’s defence system starts attacking your own tissues instead of germs, viruses and other foreign substances, which can cause pain, stiffness and joint damage. They’re also known as autoimmune diseases. The three most common forms of inflammatory arthritis are: – rheumatoid arthritis – ankylosing spondylitis – psoriatic arthritis"

Continue working with your physicians/ rheumatologist 👩⚕️👨⚕️ to assess likely condition(s) & course of action going forward.
For supplemental research, just a few of the myriad possibilities/ ‘flavours’ of autoimmunity (& simultaneous life/ bodily changes) & its tendency to ‘travel in packs’ (like wolves):
It is indeed daunting, as we (& often our beloved medics 👩⚕️👨⚕️ ) don’t know what’s wrong with us nor can they clearly, unequivocally diagnose us promptly. [Disease(s) ebb ‘n flow & mutate 🧛🏻♀️ 🧛🏽♂️ 🧟♀️ over time — a ‘moving target’ { { 🎯} } so can be extremely difficult/ impossible to ‘nail down’ 🕳🔨 definitively.]
Merely opinion: avoid getting ‘wrapped around the axel’ (obsessing) about precisely nailing an ‘exact’ diagnosis. Leave that to your physicians 👩⚕️👨⚕️ to ‘spin their wheels’ ((⚙️⚙️)) around ( healthunlocked.com/nras/pos... ). Your best efforts are spent: keeping focus — laser focus 👁 👁 — on optimal nutrient intake ( healthunlocked.com/nras/pos... ), de-stressing 🧖♀️ , deep body 🧘♀️ & mind relaxation 💆♀️ ( healthunlocked.com/nras/pos.... ), & gentle movement 🚶♀️/ exercise 🏊♀️ ( healthunlocked.com/nras/pos... ) . . .
In other words, ‘take as good a care of yourself as you possibly can’. 😌 🙏 💗
The better conditions/ circumstances you can create of loving support 💑👨❤️👨 for your body 🚺 / mind 🧠, the better you can move forward toward improving/ healing — halting 🛑 disease progression.

Aside, have learned via experience 😖🔨 (‘school of hard knocks’) that once you start improving overall life situation, overall health, the multi-symptoms/ multi-illnesses gradually subside/ dissipate — over time ⏳⌛️. 👍👍
[No clear cut ‘dividing lines’ 🤒 | 🤢 | 🤮 | 😷 | 😵 amongst the various ailments — never mind the evolution of each disease itself 😳 🤯 . Too much overlap/ blurring of lines 🔀 amongst ‘n between them, so needn’t waste time obsessively ‘splitting hairs’ 💇♀️ .]
Merely opinion: Take overall, ‘big picture’ 🖼 , ‘bird’s eye’ 🐤 view (Wholistic view) — avoid zooming 🔭 in on (obsessing over, wasting time over) hair-splitting minutiae 🔬 (Reductionist view). Focus on doing ‘the big things’ right & notice improvements along the way. 👍👍

Maybe considered a ‘passive’ (or ‘mild’) form of exercise in addition to improving bone health & avoid/ minimise Calcium supplementation(?) 🤔 : a Weighted Vest for bone health ( google.com/search?as_q=Weig... )
[Of course, per usual, check with your medics 👩⚕️👨⚕️ to ensure it would be safe for you to wear — especially if you’ve any back/ spine/ neck, shoulder, knee issues, etc..]
It fits comfortably on top of (or under) layer of loose fitting 👚 👕 clothing. Reduces ‘overheating’ as it allows ‘air circulation/ ventilation’ ♻️ — especially on warmer ☀️ 🔥 days where a more ‘full coverage’ vest can build up heat/ perspiration with less air circulation.
[Of course, try it on (if possible) to ensure the weight & fit (adjustability) are comfortable for you. 👍👍 )
If you can find one with removable weights (that slide in & out ‘little pockets’) to adjust overall vest weightthat’s a nicety. 🤗
[It allows the flexibility of increasing weight as we build strength & ‘feel up to’ adding additional weight. And, likewise, it allows the the flexibility of decreasing weight when we’d like to ‘lighten the load’. 👍👍 ]
If feeling up to it, wear around house 🏠 while doing indoor chores 🍽 🗑 🛠 . And, of course, can wear outside 🏡 when walking dog 🐕 , or just ‘going for a walk’ 🚶♀️, or gardening 🌷 🌻 🌹 & yard work 🍁 🍂 . . .
Can also wear under loose-fitting clothing when ‘running errands’ 🛒 🛍 . (Depending what you’re wearing, no one can tell you’ve a weight vest on under your top layer of clothing! ☺️ )
Just be aware of the length of time ⌚️ you’ve got the vest on to avoid ‘overdoing’ it. 😳 🙃
