Vitamin D
Does anyone have evidence (for a questioning GP) about
vitamin
D
levels? Mine was 172nmol/L and GP says it’s too high. However optimal is stated as 250-350.

Vitamin D
I have just read a post that suggests
vitamin
D
may increase palpitations in AF..My GP had suggested I take
vitamin
D
to help with the aches and pains of Polymyalgia. Seems one drug to help hinders another. I don't want to aggravate my afib. Has anyone any facts/opinions on this?

Vitamin D
I ask because I have been taking quite a high dose, 10,000iu a day and have had horrendous crippling leg pains which, after a bit of google research, might be down to the
vitamin
D
dosage. As I also take other supplements I wanted to check which might be the cause.

Did anyone else listen to Tim Spector’s recent radio interview ( part of the Zoe Health Study) about research which shows mushrooms are like humans and can generate their own
Vitamin

from the sun? I found it fascinating and certainly one way of introducing natural Vit D into my diet.

Vitamin D level
Have been on Evenity for 2 and half months and the
Vitamin
D
is showing at 112. I keep reading that it can be too high over 100 and do harm, has anyone any thoughts on this? Also, I am wondering if the drug would make the
Vitamin
D
go up anyway and if it was OK. Thanks

I received lots of good advice, including to look at taking
vitamin
d
. I then received my latest bloods showing a
vitamin
d
deficiency. So I have ordered my
vitamin
d
with my tesco delivery. Has taking
vitamin
d
helped others with their asthma.

Dr. John Campbell on Vitamin D and Prostate Cancer.
John Campbell discusses a (in his opinion good) meta-analysis of
Vitamin
D
and prostate cancer mortality. According to his assessment of the analysis,
Vitamin
D
reduces all-cause mortality in those with prostate cancer.
