What timescale after such a heart event is it safe to have a fully body massage at a spa?

I have NEVER had a massage of any kind from anyone in my lifetime. This just feels yuck. kind of pointless and expensive.

Earlier he used to get a massage done sometimes which he had put on hold after diagnosis. any opinions if it’s ok to do if it’s a light pressure massage ?

Hi everyone, just thinking out loud with my friend about whether lymphatic drainage massage would be any help for us, or a relaxation method or poking the tiger? My friend is adamant that it would help but…… don’t see my Haematologist till the end of the month when I will ask his opinion.

Anyone else has problems with massage?

I have a leg lymphedema and I've been doing manual lymphatic massages. I do them once a month to keep my leg in a good shape, because my therapist recommended this. I would like to do it more often, but my therapist doesn't have the possibility to do it more often. I am also moving abroad for university

So, the Internet expert - you know them, Doctor Google - seems to say - as does the therapist - that a lymphatic drainage massage is not only ok for IVF but potentially good - my hope is that it'll shift any remaining toxins in my system before going into pumping-up-these-follicles-stage.

I’ve read some articles about stomach massage being beneficial. Is this safe for IBS and anyone used it? Thanks in advance.

Today I visited a Young Farmers Show and there was a lovely lady doing head massages. She was hesitant to give me one because of my cancer. Does anyone know if it is safe or inadvisable to have one and whether the effects would be of benefit ?

does anyone have any knowledge or advice on buying a massage machine - preferably one where you don’t need another person to do the massage! (I’m talking about ones that cost thousands btw…). Thanks!

My oncologist said a massage is fine. But I am worried about the missing lymph nodes. Not from the point of view of pushing cancer around the body but pushing lymph? Can anyone advise please?

It's my 60th birthday next Friday and my daughters have booked us in for a Spa day, included in this is a hot stone back massage, but I've read it's not suitable for anyone with lung cancer. Has anyone any advice on this please? Regards Amanda

I even had a massage and could barely feel it, only felt skin deep sensations and not the deep tissue feeling that I'm used to. The masseuse even said I don't have any knots, which is strange as I used to have a lot and really felt achey during and after a massage.

It feels better with movement or massage but can be painful when just sitting still! Anyone else experienced this? Is this normal? GP thinks it’s mechanical but no other explanation.

A lady was interested and said I should try an academy winning company called Rosa Thia massage deep tissue , she recommended, Nonie as she understood bad backs .

hi everyone, been reducing my pref by 1/2 a week , and going great .currently at 7.5 mg I had what was supposed to be a relaxing oil massage , that ended up being a very hard and painful one. I think it may have caused a flare.

We visited the pool in our hotel and I had a massage, he did not, I’m assuming I caught it poolside or from a towel or oils. It’s sore and distressing, any experience please?
