Staying Active in Winter
Activity Classes
If the weather is preventing you from getting out and your budget allows, group classes at your
fitness
centre, pool, or even dance classes can be a great way of staying active (and social) in the winter months.

October Yoga / Pilates Mat : How is everyoneās favourite S&F practice?
Yup, the
fitness
gods have struck again, with a pulled muscle on one leg, a minor strain. It has for now stopped me from running and rowing, but in a few days I think I can add some Yoga or Pilates again, so will be choosing the one or other practice from the respective channels.

Thoughts on preventing more arryrhmias. Now 2 ablations down, on having been persistently in AF
Plus I have felt my return to exercise
fitness
has been slow, still behind older or v average runner/cycling friends. Am also definitely not over pushing myself. He said he thought the 1.25mg might be putting the breaks on. Yet such a low dose, may not be doing much for my heart.

Second time around
Have been feeling frustrated at having lost
fitness
and being back to square one but today felt an achievement. Iāve switched to Steve Cram on the app and Iām loving his encouragement. Definitely recommend him.

Walking for fitness
Hi i've not posted on here for quite a while so here goes: I'm walking everyday and trying to reach at least 10000 steps. I'm not losing the weight as quickly as i'd like but slow and steady sometimes wins the race!? I've also been doing Yoga before bedtime to relax and help me sleep which is working

Can't seem to lose weight I gained back!
I really want to stop gaining weight and get back to my previous
fitness
level again. I'm so sorry for the long-winded post, but none of the doctors I've seen have offered me much help or even taken my concerns very seriously. I'm hoping to get some kind of help here? Thank you!! <3 <3

Exercise and PMR
I do want to try a rebuild my
fitness
gradually, but I find it difficult to know sometimes how far to push things. I started getting problems with aches in my hips and thighs in 2022 when doing physio exercises for my osteoporosis. The aches didnāt happen straightaway, but at night in bed.

Sorry for the absence and new shoes!
. ā¹ļø Both hubby and I now still test positive, but Iām hoping it will all pass and my
fitness
will return but, soon. But Covid is strange in that its recovery seems often not really linear. However, today was a great day as my Altra Lone Peak zero-drop hiking boots arrived!

Looking for Fertility Nutritionist and Fitness Expert
Hi All Looking for a recommendation for a fertility dietician and
fitness
expert in the Glasgow area. Would be willing to consider talking to someone out with via zoom, but would prefer someone in Glasgow who offers PT sessions as well.

I do struggle with life food and
fitness
, but I do okay once I find my groove. However, my journey has felt quite isolating, so I really am looking to bond with some others to share journeys. I am a mom of 3 and full time employee.

The comeback is on!
The aim is to build back
fitness
and work up to a steady 5k so his morning's run was 3.5k slightly faster than last week's pace. I'm happy with that and it feels good to be back in control. Happy running everyone. š
