Odd run today, dodgy calf muscles, but longest distance so far.....how does that happen?
I've had no real issues

wise over the whole programme yet today, five minutes in, both calf muscles felt as if they were going to pop. They seemed on the verge of cramping up, so I slowed right down and got into a steady rhythm.

Running fitness HELP!!
Will my
fitness
go down if I build up to 5K and then only do 2 5K runs a week, or shall I contact the programme and see what they can do and keep to my three?

Fun!
It was rather lovely to do an easy one lol, though I don't know how much it will have done for my
fitness
, but still better than doing nothing and it was fun to run witha friend.

I really took my time but I think my
fitness
must be getting better as each km is under 6 min 30. The only reason my fourth km falls short is I had to stop and let a cyclist past on a narrow part of my run. Now for some breakfast before work. Just realised it’s a PB too. Even more happy.

Help needed! Possibility of surgery due to avascular necrosis!
I have increased my
fitness
by exercising 3 to 4 times a week and hoping it would improve my mobility. I was using a walking stick since February 2020 and since June 2020 I have been using a crutch which am I currently using. I had an x-ray of hip and MRI scan.

Cautious return from the injury couch
I was quite surprised my
fitness
held up as much as it did. My ankle seemed to be fairly good, it was only in the last minute or so that I could feel it. I wouldn’t even say it was a twinge more that I could feel my ankle when normally I wouldn’t be aware if it.

W7/R1 ... Who’d have thought it!
Oh yes so delighted with that one and I can honestly see I am making
fitness
progress as I ran the final 5 minutes up a hill that I would never have been able to do before AND got a faster final minute, even uphill!
