Thinking of starting Couch to 5K
I am now considering starting the Couch to 5K (which is also an excuse for me to buy a new
fitness
watch!).

Virtual Runs and Runners

Traditional Indoor Walk/Jog Workout
And here, not a virtual run, but a more traditional indoor walking and jogging workout routine, with very cool music, which - if you can’t get excited about virtual running - might be just the right thing for you: 👣 Brian Syuki Focus

Running Gear and Tiny Sizes!
I wouldn't mind but thinness is no measure of
fitness
anyway!! Anyone know of a big-girl running-gear shop? So I've missed today but it won't kill me, and it's half term next week thank goodness, so I can run in the daylight! Love to all, hope your running journeys are going well x

My husband has had AVR, does he need to isolate?
My husband had his heart valve replaced a year ago and recovered really well and back to full
fitness
. Is he still classed as vulnerable for coronavirus?? We have had nothing from the Dr ..

Struggling
I didn’t realised my
fitness
levels would go down so quickly.. I’m feeling sad that I’ve feel like I’ve lost the motivation.. 🏃♀️ I can’t get up at the crack of dawn to run before work like I did. Then after work I feel too tired.. help!! I don’t know what to do ☹️

Re-running C25K with a friend but want to start my own 10k training?
of mine wants to start running and asked if she could come along, and I of course said yes to a running buddy but suggested we start with couch to 5k as I know she tried to get into it over the summer but didn't get past week 1 on her own, and I know from having done it how good it is at building up

W1R2 and dreading it, lol
i found W1R1 such a nightmare :-D (though i ended up elated in my mood and with no injury) that i am dreading today's foray into
fitness
. they do say it gets easier. in fact i found out yesterday my friend has done this programme and she said it gets easier the longer you run for... weird, but still

Cycling for Fitness
I should restart walking physio later today. As it will be limited initially we have been trying to think of something different. I have seen an exercise bike in the dining room so suggested I give it a go. They have never had a cycling amputee but my physios do not see why not. It has to be cleared

CR5 5km PB!! Galloping gazelles💥💥💥
Finally think my improved
fitness
is showing and I'm keeping up with the pace of 3 runs a week and improving my time. Really noticing the changes now especially to my own confidence, which is a great feeling, knowing all the hard work is now reaping rewards.

Today's the day!
I went back to week 6 and gradually built up
fitness
again and now I can at last say 'I finished Couch to 5K'. Feels good. To any new people, stick with it. If I can do it, anyone can. Thanks to everyone for the encouragement and running tips. Now the challenge is to keep going.

Day 1 week 1
I’m taking control of my
fitness
. Today I started couch to 5k. I’m fairly big (although slowly getting smaller!) I have never run before and I could only get half way. I felt like I could not carry on. I’m going to try again tomorrow. I’m interested to know did anyone have the same thing?

Given these characteristics, what career would be a fit for me
I love to share things I have learned to others (when with someone at gym I naturally help them with form and or exercise details) and love to maintain a healthy lifestyle (skincare, eating healthy,
fitness
). I’ve been considering nursing and elementary education.

Still plodding on to 10K but with a tweaked Magic Plan!
Combined with not being able to do my usual cross-training of tennis twice a week either I felt like my overall
fitness
progress (and what my current focus is) was taking a bit of a hit. So I took a few days off of running to re-evaluate and find a way forward.

W9R1 - MEH! 😞
Not mentally (I batted away the gremlins) and not my
fitness
(breathing and endurance were fine) but my ankle(s) once again struggled.
