For the money and availability and flexibility, The current sale at planet
fitness
is the best deal I can find and I joined and started yesterday. I really like it a lot. Right now I do 25 minutes of the strider ( sitting down elliptical) and 5 minutes of the elliptical.

Rambling on into W7
One of the puzzles this time around in C25K is working out/separating limits of not just
fitness
and mind, but joints, too. When is the pace too fast for my knees to cope? Dare I say it, though I am far from fast, I think I’m getting to the point where that question can be answered.

In the bank!
Pleasantly surprised with my
fitness
levels though I have graduated from regular walking over the last month! Not a bad view at the finish line

W9 R3 It is done
I need to have structure as I'm not someone who finds just going for a random run easy so I think I will start on one of the NRC programmes to build up
fitness
and stamina. I always enjoyed the NRC guided runs - especially with coach B. Good luck everyone and happy running. 😊

Muscle mass growth???
I’ve always been BIG into
fitness
and keeping my physique the way I like it. I’ve always denied medications that would cause even the slightest weight gain due to it leading into depression if I gained a bit. I’ve always been insecure when I gain weight.

Back to it after 22 days of not running
I felt like it’d taken me until June to get my
fitness
levels back to where they were previously (I’d had an injury as well which was another two weeks on top of the lurgy).

A bit more about speed
It tells me nothing about my
fitness
. I really doubt that, in the absence of illness or injury, this could change so significantly in 2 days. What is does tell me is that terrain and weather are probably the biggest determinants of how fast you go.

WEEKLY CHAT 29TH JAN - 4TH FEB: Anyone fancy the Coldest Marathon in the World? 🥶
I must say, although it’s early days, but my twice weekly sessions on the stationary bike seem to be doing my
fitness
levels and general running a power of good.

Studying at the medical school, having a heart condition
Perhaps my words came across as tragic but l am just trying to live a normal life to restore my
fitness
very hard. I feel sad about this. I am planning to channel my energy and time into figuring out some psychological and medical management strategies for de-stress step by step.

Have been training the last few weeks for Cardiff half at the start of October If I rest the ankle which is the best course of action I won't be running or training for the next two weeks because of the i.c. and a planned holiday I did a half in June so I have a good base level

Migraine gluten link
Fast forward to earlier this year, having been gluten free for over 2 years, but still on propranolol for migraine prevention (was always blamed on vestibular issues and hearing loss) I started having issues where my heart rate was slowing down (I found this out with my
fitness
watch) and I was feeling

Hello from a new member! :-)
Rebuilt in May with 7 vertebrae bolted together and since then gradually recovering and regaining
fitness
. Then 2 weeks ago a bolt out of the blue. I had noticed through monitoring my blood pressure that my diastolic (bottom number) had gone from 60s pre-accident to 40s post-accident.

in fact I found it helped ease the pain, but the last year has been unbearable with my back hips and legs I'm in so much pain all the time resulting in me having to stop.

Living with alcohol related cirrhosis- I know it varies but whats "normal"?
I work front line NHS so it's a pretty heavy job with life or death consequences for patients if I mess up- I'm waiting for Occupational Health dept. to do a primary assessment of my
fitness
before I can make a definite decision about my future career options.

I also start pulmonary rehab soon 😊 to add to my wild array of
fitness
I already do! Just wanted to celebrate a win as I feel like I’ve been fighting the tide since being diagnosed.
