medication after open heart surgery
However the time has definitely come to go back to them (flaring all over now and I’m finding it difficult to do the walking required to get back to some sort of cardiac
fitness
after the toll taken by the op). The rheumatologist wants me on abatacept.

AFib and Cardioversion
My thought is if Afib does return whilst this will be disappointing would I just revert to current meds ie Bisoprolol which have enabled me to maintain a decent level of exercise and
fitness
. My worst state was being in extended Afib episode and trying to get an appointment to get meds.

Very little holiday running 😎
Hopefully any lost
fitness
will return and the determination to get back into my stride, quite literally. Adios, and happy running from a hot and sunny Spain.

Alicia Morgans, MD, on PCa in Older Men – Determining frailty or fitness will help guide treatment decisions, MedPageToday, 11/27/2023

Given this, geriatric assessments to determine a patient's frailty or
and inform treatment decisions are important in prostate cancer patients older than 65. These assessments can help avoid overtreating frailer men or undertreating fitter ones, the authors explained.

💪🏃♀️ I’m going to watch that I don’t get too cocky now because I seem to be gaining
fitness
far faster than I usually do after a period on the IC. One more 25 min run this week then week 8! It’s getting like really running now again. 😬🫤

So my
fitness
must not have diminished too much. Erin chats quite a lot, focussing on both mindful and posture aspects of running, which I welcomed.

Wow! Im so proud, today I managed 60 minutes of fat walking
However when I hit 70 I lost a lot of my
fitness
and put on three stone so any effort is much harder. I’ve been using the active 10 app for some weeks now and from one active 10 mins I’ve progressed to daily 3 active 10s. Which hasn’t been easy as I’m still obese.

Conversation with fitness coach
Hi guys I had a conversation with my
fitness
coach today when I told him I wasn't losing weight he actually told me that when people say they would want to lose weight they mean lose fat and he told me the distinction between fat and muscle and it's weighted.

In the bank!
Pleasantly surprised with my
fitness
levels though I have graduated from regular walking over the last month! Not a bad view at the finish line

Is HE always inevitable with severe chronic liver disease?
Transplant is not an option, due to serious underlying health conditions and also total lack of
fitness
. She has at least 15 of these tumours taking over her liver now. She has had a resection last year and two embolizations this year and now it is far too risky to do anything else.

5km every day this week
More like
fitness
walks and gets the miles in for challenge. Probably raincoats this week coming or more clothes , not to be as warm. Did slow jogging for 400 metres 10 .23 m/k but not doing this often ,just odd time.

Aging during the PMR/GCA journey. How to know if we can ever recover our pre-illness levels of energy and fitness
These are the years when even the vast majority of the "healthy" go through changes in energy levels,
fitness
, muscle strength, mental agility, etc, due to the normal process of aging. (Obviously there will always be exceptional cases, like the 93 year-old woman in my Pilates class!).
