Virtual village hall
It has loads of different video based workshop but also live
fitness
classes coming up. I know the workshops are not interactive but they are handy if you like learning, or you could share with friends and do them together on video calls.

The start of the run I felt great and could really feel my
fitness
improving as I wasn’t out of puff as quick as last week. The last 2/3 runs however were hard and I had to fight through it mentally as I felt like stopping 😰 but we got there in the end!

And on to Week 2...
No real problems here but the run up the hill on the way back just illustrated how my
fitness
level has dropped from early autumn.

Day 369: A New Lockdown.
Well, we are in a new lockdown and hopefully this will not be a problem for you all, in fact I hope that it helps by giving your some time to focus on yourself and your heath and your
fitness
. It has been a normal day for me apart from prepping for lockdown school.

Take forever to recover from illness
By which time my
fitness
is rubbish! I also find I'm suddenly run out of energy when doing something like cleaning the house. Is this a typical of a thyroid problem? Secondly, I'm eight months post ablation for a cardiac ablation to correct atrial fibrillation.

Does cold weather & too many roasties make running harder?
Basically I’m asking...is it normal to lose that much
fitness
in a week? Thank you! X

BETH from NHS
STUDIO : This is something between Yoga and meditation and it looks great but 35min long! Provided by the NHS for free, before the YouTube craze took of. I am forever grateful to the fantastic staff that put the NHS

A (not) Long Run - and an experiment with fartleks
After about 0.5K I remember that Instructor57 said Mr Garmin reduced his
fitness
age after his short fartlek run earlier this week. Let's see... Well, it was interesting....

Better run today
I think it is the combination of not walking as much as usual and also sitting around more which seems to have sapped my
fitness
.

Finally getting back on track...
Well it's been a rough few months (or year I might add)... and I have completely let my running and
fitness
slip and have gone nearly 3 months without going for a single run or bike ride.

New onset of Cirrhosis of the Liver
I have lost over a stone in weight and arranged to speak with a nutritionist and
fitness
coach to improve
fitness
and eat more healthily. I rarely have a drink and if i do i don't drink very much. However, i think the last time i had a drink would of been at begining of October.

Back on the beat!
Check out my VO2 max - dropped 2 points,
fitness
age gone up 6 years !! (But it is still unbelievably low to make it totally pointless), and took longer to get back to resting heart rate - not sure how long but my watch was giving me stress warning about 2 hours later !

Another attempt at 8 miles
While I’m disappointed I didn’t complete the 8 mile distance, I probably have more
fitness
in my legs than when I completed 7 miles. Each run is moving me towards my goal of 21K. Even though I’m high as a kite after the run, I also feel this was one of my most important runs.

Do you take extra pred in the day ?
I can manage on about 10mg a day if I am sedentary, but if I am busy from work, or
fitness
walks I start getting the pain.
