I just hope my
fitness
improves to help me meet what I just saw is ahead in the programme! Yes, silly move, I'll trust the programme and focus on this week and repeat if I'm not ready to move on.

Starting after a break of 4 weeks.
I know I have lost
fitness
over the few weeks off, My question is does anyone have any idea how much? In my head I feel as though I could run for 5 minuntes at a time, so want to try at week 5 again, or do you think that might be too much after a month off?

Back to my weekly target / audiobook recommendation
This might be due to having less stamina due to age (I’m 65) or just that I’ve lost some of my
fitness
, I’m not sure. On Friday I was running out of days to run and needed to do 8k to meet my target. Well, I did it but it was certainly hard work.

Every niggle felt like the end, I wondered whether running was really going to be a sustainable path to
fitness
. But, I stuck with it, and in time I passed the graduation point (that was in August 2018….I needed physio treatment for a calf injury in week 6).

My first year of running
The realisation that we're mortgaged until I'm 69 and the desire to carry some modicum of health and
fitness
into my eventual retirement was the main impetus behind this objective.

Slow heart rate.
I am a 49 y.o female, non smoker, average weight &
fitness
. About this time last week I felt very aware of my heart beats, more pronounced I suppose, also felt like I was having to take in deeper breaths, didn't feel ill and have had no pain.

Heart rate training attempt two - using polar watch properly!
Overall my times are definately slower but I'm coming back feeling great and not beetroot red and sweaty and it still says I'm gaining
fitness
. For the first time my watch is happy with my training and says it's productive instead of over reaching or under productive as I was used to seeing.

National Fitness Day Today!!!
I realised only once having come back from work that it was national
fitness
day. So what to do? Jump on the rower? Roll out my yoga mat? Go for one of those quick seven minutes runs, just before dinner? hmmmm..,.. Not quite sure yet. So what has everyone else been up to on #NationalFitnessDay?

How to Keep your Hands Warm with Chemical Heat Packs
The cycling seemed to do nothing much for aerobic
fitness
which was a disappointment, but it I think lowered my Reynaud's breakpoint down from 10deg down to 8deg when on foot. Most of the time then I can now avoid heatpacks in the shoes when walking.

The Best thing about Memories? They belong to me...
I am not feeling at the peak of
fitness
, but the sessions of strength work and stamina plus the routines with YWA have keep the old snail moving. I set out my gear last night...winter weight leggings and a long sleeved T. Buff and cap.

Knowing when NOT to run !
Through all of the above I have now managed to loose 7kg (15.4lbs) This is already having an effect on my
fitness
, I am now walking at the same or similar perceived exertion but my HR is lower (this is way below the level that the beta blockers would limit my HR) It's has also (quite obviously really

New to group and a survivor with encouragement!
I found a great
fitness
program that has helped me get strong again. I've lost 50 pounds. It took me forever to get to this point, but I'm doing great now. I'm the happiest I've ever been. I used to lie in bed at night thinking my life was over, and I was in terrible physical pain.

S&F Catch-Up: Let us know about what you’ve been up to in February
Just a quick catch-up post asking what kind of workouts or
fitness
plans people are involved in? Have you managed to keep up the momentum from January? Have you explored some new workouts? Or have you kept going with something you started in January, like YWA yoga monthly’s calendars?

week 6 and feeling fed up.
This brisk walking has obviously increased by
fitness
and I wanted to go further. Im on week 6 now and doing ok but my pace is the same. Im probably walking a tiny bit slower (as I recover from running) but my actual running is still so slow. I know pace will come but I’m so impatient.

Finally back outside!
What is very apparent is that my
fitness
level has dropped significantly, this was not really a surprise. It felt fine while out, although my breathing was not as easy as I would have liked ! But after I got back home I felt absolutely drained and aching .

Bridgefeast--nice post! More on exercise
I had intended to open a one on one
fitness
business--well then. I have tens of thousands of dollars of equipment yet continually go back to an adjustable chest expander while watching television and having morning coffee. I found a good video demonstrating a few exercises with a chest expander.
