Sorry for the absence and new shoes!

I’m still a bit wobbly from Covid, day by day recovering but some days are wobblier than others.

But I did manage to get out in the morning and evening every day over this week and do a bit of gardening or do a bit of walking in the evening. But I still cannot do this for long as exhaustion and wobblieness sets in. ☹️

Both hubby and I now still test positive, but I’m hoping it will all pass and my fitness will return but, soon. But Covid is strange in that its recovery seems often not really linear.

However, today was a great day as my Altra Lone Peak zero-drop hiking boots arrived!

I have the Altra Lone Peaks for running, but wanted a pair for walking and also ankle boots in order for me to wear them as casual work boots. And these are perfect! I’ve been waiting for a sale and today they arrived!

As many will know, they meet my requirements of:

- zero drop

- wide toe box

- flexible / responsive ankle support (opposite of stiff)

so pretty happy and looking forward to a more substantial hike.

Like the boots, love the altra lone peak shoes. Hope you get over your Covid quickly. This pesky disease still doing its rounds, I’ve never got it and don’t know how but hope I don’t get it. Hope you get back shortly. 🥰

Sorry to hear you have Covid 🙁 Enjoy the boots 😊 I have gone off ankle boots, they seem very restrictive after wearing trail running shoes but I need them for the mountains really.

I hope you recover completely soon . I had Covid back in December 2020 & it wiped me out & I couldn’t even walk to the end of the road to start with .
