Worried about maintenance after the weight loss…
I know when I’m smaller, I won’t need as many calories anyway, because my resting metabolism/set point/other fancy name all the diet and
fitness
people on the net seem to call it, will be lower. But can 1400 calories be enough forever?

JJMP w1r2 and a priceless moment
But, today's run showed my
fitness
has definitely improved. Even though I have done a few c25k & consolidation runs at this park, I never ran the 5k here. Once I completed the 2 loops, I remembered about 10yrs back I had attempted to jog this park as I was getting bored of walking there regularly.

Late starter
But found
fitness
dropped off during the winter. So started the C25K, just using a treadmill at the moment until I get fit enough to go outside and not collapse after 5 minutes. Up to week 8, day 1 and so far so good.

Consolidation run turns into week 1 run 1. Is it ok for a 9 year old to do c25k? Advice please!!
He does sports clubs a few times a week after school while I’m at work so he’s got some level of
fitness
. He did struggle a little bit with this run though. He wouldn’t listen when I said he needed to pace himself it’s not a race - just went flat out 🤦♀️ . I just don’t want him doing too much.

Half term runs - good time to run further
I am enjoying my runs and look forward to them, but am no longer enjoying my
fitness
exercises on my rest days, so i need to find something that i like doing for those days instead.

Just a Short Recovery Run 🌞🏃
During the last 3 months or so my VO2MAX had dropped and my
fitness
age had become older than my actual age. This has now reversed and I am now 7 years younger than my actual age 😁 Not quite as low as it had been at one point but at least heading back in the right direction , Happy Running! 😁

Advice on exercise during IVF
Pole
fitness
is a lot of arm and core work, with holds around the stomach and thighs (also include some HIIT on warming up). Would it be an idea to stop these during IVF?

All the gear, no idea ... but magic shoes.
And every run adds to my structural
fitness
, strengthening my legs and protecting me from injury. But then, a few weeks ago I saw Nike Vaporfly shoes on sale at half price.

Week 2 done
Bonus is I do feel great after, but once I have done this I will defo be looking for a non running based
fitness
challenge. Doing this, however, will hopefully give me better
fitness
for the summer fun stuff like coasteering, which I would like to do.

Bit low in energy
The pace was slow until I saw a beautiful sky, I then realised how lucky I am to have the
fitness
and ability to do this.

Easing of covid restrictions
I’ve worked throughout covid as a lab manager and can do plenty of my job from home but work are not keen (as they require blood , sweat and tears) so I was going to ask the doctor for a
fitness
to work/ amendment form - can’t remember the specific name of it.

Off the starting blocks
My first run showed me just how far away I am from my past
fitness
levels. But it’s a start. I might need a bit of encouragement though. So all tips and good news stories much appreciated x

Gremlins nearly got me again…. but I won!
Legs are tiring, I’ve lost so much
fitness
these last few months but it has been so perfect to be out and running. Nearly at 4k so sprint (slow sprint) over the bridge and stop the watch at 43 minutes. Keep running, be happy and if you are resting on the IC heal well

Walking #2: what if I could learn to love to walk? And Stride!
I had in the past explored the app-based walking
fitness
-tracker-game: The Walk, developed by the same people who created Zombies, Run.

Back In The Groove
I still haven’t had my double hernia repaired but started a
fitness
regime aimed at getting a beach body and mainly included HIT training, which I can’t do too rigorously due to the hernias, but that’s going well and I’m losing weight.

Back to 6k & pretty damn happy about it 😊
