A10 in 2023: Here are our 2023 A10 Walking Challenges
And although I thought some of the plans were not quite thought through (I’ll not be doing bear-walking on hands and feet in the middle of my walk), this book gave me the idea that there is a way to train yourself to become a better walker. 3) Health and

Bedtime Yoga on International Yoga Day
I’ve not done many yoga sessions for quite a while, rather doing thorough targeted stretching and strength sessions with one of my
fitness
apps. But just doing this session reminded me how relaxing and how mindful Adriene’s sessions are, even when they are so very short. A little goes a long way!

a single day relapse?
I do
fitness
classes and lift light weights regularly. I pace myself. I recently had covid, so that could be a factor. I am 62. Is it normal to have a single day of full-on PMR symptoms like this? When I relapsed before, it was slower coming on and lasted longer.

THE RUNNERS RETURN...WEEK 2... Come and Join Us...Please!
If we are going to comeback successfully and stick with it... we need a slow return and a slow build up...no worries about lost
fitness
or fast-ness! It may feel really hard at first, like trying to start an old motor!

Week 5 run 3
Just completed the 20 min run on my familiar trail path - using the benefits of being retired to run in the morning and do some classes - like strength and yoga during the week - hope to keep up improving my
fitness
as I get older. C25K is a great app.

How to return from a calf strain well (PART 2)
It is a constant process of balancing the strength and flexibility of various parts, as my exercise activities take me further and deeper into my own, very personal
fitness
journey. In the past three years I had in the average one stint on the injury couch per year.

When you have a stubborn streak
Saturday was my 5K plan weekly Long Easy Run and I messed this up, covering 10K in just under an hour which is too fast for my present state of
fitness
and fatness to qualify as an easy run on a warm and muggy day. Then the watch annoyed me by telling me I needed 34 hours to recover.

The problem of aching legs…
Very sadly, my
fitness
has gone down to the point where I need to completely start again from the beginning, which I something I did yesterday (Tuesday) and have my next run scheduled for tomorrow.

Fortnightly S&F Catch-Up: Hubbies, Coaches and Self-Coaching
Looking at my
fitness
diary, it looks like I constantly need to have a conversation with myself! The margins often have exclamations scribbled, from “Wowsa!!”, “Woohoo!!” to “Find a way how, just do it!” and “Go!”. Maybe I can call it I kind of self-coaching?

Catching Up!
To help move things forward, I’ve signed up for a Leadership in Running
Fitness
course. Had Covid over the first couple of weeks of July (I blame Rammstein for that). Still a bit fatigued but no serious issues.

Back in February this year, weighing high 90's kg 5'10 ish, I started attending a gym to feel better, improve

Back once again with the renegade runner....
I've enough residual
fitness
to start again from week 3 and I know I'll make rapid progress but it's very depressing to be back at running for 3 minutes at a time when those 5k runs were only a few months ago....

Cyclist and Runner with Persistent AF - After much deliberation decided to have an ablation
and left the Cath Lab and Recovery in sinus rhythm (not quite NSR as I have always been Bradycardic going back as long as I can remember – genes and general
fitness
I believe – so it has not needed intervention).

Sudden drop in EF
I’m not sure whether the hot weather has had something to do with it, he has had no cardiac rehab since having his HA 10 weeks ago but has been building up his
fitness
by walking on the advice of the cardiologist.

First 10k race
Would not running for the next 10 days affect my
fitness
for the race? Do you think other exercise would be better like bike riding or extra strength training?

Anyone got any words of advice of how to keep up my
fitness
so I don't fall back with my running? I have been told it could take up to 8 weeks to recover! 😔

Starting again - but from which week?
It was crazy hot and the heat was a factor, but I think my level of
fitness
/laziness was also quite a big contributor. I'm not feeling it anymore. I think I probably need to start Couch25K again soon, but where do I jump back to? Week 1? Later? How do you pick the right place?
