My PMR journey
I am gradually increasing my excercise and regaining
fitness
. One lasting effect seems to be my thin skin. I cut and bruise very easily this is also part of ageing but has been exsacerbated by the steroids.

Doing it again
It’s ridiculous how much my
fitness
has declined this time in the few months since I stopped. Hopefully I can motivate myself to finish it again and keep it up afterwards

Advice please !
In the meantime, my teenage son wants a
fitness
monitor for his birthday and I don’t know where to start. Please could experienced users give me some idea of how they work, good and bad features and experiences etc ? Thanks in advance, and happy running x

Well it started well, and then.......
I haven’t managed to get out for a couple of weeks having ricked my back, and yesterday I had my second jab, so when I set off this morning it was sort of a personal experiment to see where I am right now
fitness
wise.

❤️...🤫...Well...look what the cat’s dragged in 😸!...🏃🏽♀️...👈🏽..Moi...😃 (and lazy Sgt Major Garmin 💂♀️...🙄!)
I need to revive the mojo and the
fitness
. I think a June Quest might be on the cards for us 🏃🏽♀️..💂♀️, TailChaser 😁!! I will need quite a bit of TLC thrown in too mind. My June Quest won’t be anything spectacular, but I shall look out for the invitation TailChaser!

Jogging during stims
I am no great runner (used to be) but got a treadmill to try and get a little fitter before starting again and I would very much like to keep on using it and try to keep my
fitness
up a bit. Any advice much appreciated. Xxxx

Hello from Brawny
A little over a month ago, I started a weight loss/
fitness
journey ( again). I am retiring in 9 months and want to lose 75 pounds. Well I have lost 15 and have 60 left. I came here to get and hopefully give support to others. I know what to do but I need consistency and focus.

Anyone got a plan
My
fitness
age is 62 according to Garmin which is 10% younger than I am and it predicts a 34 min 5K. How do I get faster. I remember Tony Sutton at school running faster backwards than I could forwards! I am also an ex smoking blast furnaceman so my lungs are not 100%!

Finally, a run!
But maybe it is not wise to do such a long run after being ill, losing a bit of
fitness
and the groin. I do have to work up back to 6 km (about 55 min I think) by next weekend, because I participate in a virtual race of 6 km then.

Trying and trying and trying to run further!
I always tried to do something but by the time we moved here in February I had lost a lot of
fitness
. So since February I have been trying to get back to doing longer distances and to running more frequently.

1st race ever (10k) in a week
I have a bit of a base level of
fitness
, having tried to do more exercise since Christmas, but I'm not very quick compared to a lot of what I read online.

Vegan Runners? 🖐️
I've completed C25K twice previously, but always had to stop due to injury, This time around I had been Vegan for a year before trying again, had also upped my
fitness
before trying again..

Just Diagnosed with ‘Fatty Liver’
Last September I had my hip replaced after 5 years of suffering and my
fitness
depleting and weight gain, I have never been overweight till all this started. In April 2021 my pains got worse so decided to check with my doctor and had a scan which has confirm fatty liver.

Dynamic Duo to the rescue?
And because conserved residues typically serve essential protein functions, “the virus often can’t mutate those residues without suffering a
fitness
cost,” she says, “which means the barrier to escape is typically higher for these broadly neutralizing antibodies.”"

Should I be feeling sick?
On another note, today's run seems to have pushed my

age down to 29 😂😂😂😂

I have finished!! Week 9 run 3 🥳
My
fitness
really has improved so much in such a short time, I could not have seen a few weeks ago I would be able to run a straight 30 minutes. And now I can go finally shopping for some new running gear...Can’t wait!

As I knew about easy food app, you app, weight loss app and couch to 5K app and was on a weight loss and

Never give up
I did CT5K last year and was starting the 10k training when I lost my motivation and then my
fitness
and got COVID. I am back on the horse and on week 6 of CT5K again and feeling good.
