Is swimming safe
I was just wondering if
swimming
is safe for the liver due to the pool chemicals, I have recently got back in the pool after 40 years and I am loving it, I know my liver needs exercise and
swimming
is one of the best forms, plus it’s a bonus to be doing an exercise that I actually enjoy as well, now

I know I’m having a flare-rheum disagrees
Anyway, after several months ( Jan, Feb, March) of muscle , nerve and joint pain, I started feeling better- I was
swimming
in therapy and doing Pilates. Got down to 2.5 mgs. Well, as they say, all good things come to an end. For this past week, my symptoms from the ‘early days’ returned.

New to the app
I went
swimming
yesterday for an hour and swam 1 kilometre. I tried going on activities to record it and it came up with a stopwatch to record my
swimming
as I was doing it. That is no use to me. I don't have a waterproof smart watch and obviously can't take my phone in the pool.

Struggling W/ Graves and Weight Gain
I took the advice and worked out 6 days a week with
swimming
3x and strength training the other 3x and fasting and following the cal deficit. I was able to lose 1kg over a month, but it took that level of everything just to lose that.

Weight loss
I have physio e exercise for my knee, planta fishua and exercise for my toes.I have ate less chocolate this Christmas and this week I went
swimming
twice. I was surprised to see that I had lost weight as I went out before Christmas for a meal and have eaten Christmas pudding and cream.

Perfect weight
This allows you to minitor the impact of each type of exercise So I have done in the last month, wing foiling, wind foiling, 3km swims in pool, open sea
swimming
, dinghy sailing, a lot of water polo training and matches, a lot of tennis versus the mavchine.

Buprenorphine Sublingual Tablets and journey to recovery
I've read about weight loss with buprenorphine, I've lost a lot of weight the last 12 months and put it to mental health (trauma and grief), improving with fitness (
swimming
regularly) and better eating. In the last year I have gone from 117kg to 76kg.

Some time ago there was a discussion about
swimming
goggles. I would like to go
swimming
at my local indoor pool. Ladt time I wore well fitting goggles but got conjunctivitis anyway🥲…which are the well fitting goggles that people use? I do not need prescription ones. Thanks

Endurance sport and Afib
I am very active
swimming
and mountain bike riding but perhaps it is time to realise that I cannot do these activities at a competitive level again. Would be interested on any abalation results and whether there is someone that had a successful return to an endurance sport? Cheers

Diet and CLL
I can't go
swimming
as I did before I was diagnosed. That is out because of infection risk from sports halls and
swimming
baths. I just wondered what diet people follow.

Eustachian tube disorder/congestion on one side...causing tinnitus.
I've had intermittent relief from a range of things including neck massage and things that clear my sinuses such as saunas,
swimming
, long fresh air walks, any time I've had a temperature and sometimes from exercise, etc.

PMR vs Fibro - follow up to my post
Therefore, he says, have a break from
swimming
, and I have been prescribed some exercises to strengthen the knee area and walking in the pool, instead of
swimming
. The physio also pronounced that my PMR has gone and that I am suffering residual pain.

asthmatic response to new rug made in India
It immediately caused me to go from being virtually free of asthma symptoms to being in need of steroid inhaler and frequent ventolin doses - I was very short of breath, my lungs were irritated and when exercising,
swimming
or walking, I’d need ventolin but found it wouldn’t work if I was also taking

Problems using the app
Well I've easily beaten both of these - in the last 2 days I have been
swimming
twice for an hour each time but can't enter this in the app because it only lets you record
swimming
'live'. You have to start a stopwatch in the app when you are doing it.

Still in flair after 2 weeks on 15 mg?
Even on days when I’ve done little more than take a short walk, worked for two hours (on the computer/reading), and driven to the sea for a swim (500 meters by car without much actual
swimming
) I do not fell at all as well as have done before.
