Prior to this I was extremely fit
swimming
half a mile each morning and several weekly exercise classes and had the perfect figure even at size 16. I saw my GP who put me on 25mg pred and did blood tests and said in her view I had PMR gave me a print out from her computer and off I went.

Can I swim in sea in uk summer while pregnant? (Cold water minimum 15 oC - max 18 oC)
I dont stay in for extended periods and have been
swimming
in my local baths througout my pregnancy so Im used to
swimming
with bump. All the research on internet says its fine unless its extended time in frigid cold waters like in the winter as I risk my body going into shock.

Mysterious chest pains. . . Or not so mysterious chest pains?
As a result I have now given up my exercise regime -
swimming
, running, cycling etc - which I find grievous, having exercised for many years now. Nevertheless, in my present state of unknowingness, I feel I can no longer take the risk. Please advise.

4mg and sticking!
I am still at 4mg now and trying trying to work out whether morning aches and stiffness are much the same as I have always had since 9mg and always fade by the afternoon, or are the result of exercise such as walking and
swimming
which if I am honest were probably a little more than the "gentle" I

A Good Morning
I live by the sea on the North East coast of Scotland and my pals and I survived last winter's lockdown by
swimming
in the sea twice a week. We have kept this up all over the summer and our wee group of four elderly women has grown to over thirty.

Raised liver enzymes
I eat exceptionally well - home cooked foods, lots of wholegrains, about 10 of my 5 a day, I exercise 5 days a week (running and
swimming
) and I feel very well in myself. I also have polycystic ovary syndrome which is managed with metformin (non-diabetic).

After eighteen months in isolation I decided to “take the plunge” and go
swimming
. After fighting my way into my costume I was too exhausted to get into the car! Now booked for Friday the water awaits 🧜🏻♀️

Why do I keep 'crashing' and how do I stop it?
As soon as I do some light exercise such as
swimming
, I end up with muscle ache, weakness and fatigue beyond comprehension. I spend 2 to 3 days and nights in bed sleeping almost continuously; after which I can then function again.
