Does anyone find
swimming
a problem for your skin with lupus? Its a preferred exercise for mental well being, but concerned chlorine will aggregate rash on arms face and in ears.

Swimming again
I too am back in the
swimming
pool after not having swum for years . Really enjoying it actually and it feels good to belong to a “gym”! I have achieved 40 lengths already (which is over half a mile ) so I’m pretty pleased with myself !

Swimming
I now want to take it up a level and as the local pool is at the end of my road I am thinking of doing a daily swim in the morning before work (maybe an hour of moderate Lane
swimming
but would work up to that gradually).

Swimming advice
However, my oncologist advised against
swimming
atall during treatment due to the significant risk of infection and the possible impact of chemicals from pools on the skin, and definitely not hot tubs and saunas, not that I use either of these.

I've been doing Organ imagery as I'm
swimming
. This really seems to help with my coordination strength, each of movement and efficiency.

ICD and Outdoor Swimming
Over the past 10 years I’ve been an active outdoor swimmer sea
swimming
through the winter without a wet suit and taking part in two English Channel relay swims. I’m keen to know if anyone with an ICD fitted does open water
swimming
still and what precautions they take.

Swimming after Preserflo microshunt surgery
Hello. I’ve had Preserflo microshunt surgery in both eyes this year - left eye in April, right eye in July. I’d like to get back to aqua jogging in my local pool. Because of the setup there I have to fully submerge my head to get in and out. Has anyone else returned to the pool after the same surgery

Buprenorphine patch and swimming
My neurologist told me
swimming
should not decrease the efficacy of the patch. During this period I experienced no RLS symptoms. However, after 3 weeks, one morning I woke up with severe burning in my left ankle. This type of pain was common but much worse when I was augmenting on Neupro.

Cold water swimming
Hi all, I have been toying with cold water
swimming
for some time. ... (Now I'm no longer on the brink of chilblains at all times it seems like it could be a reasonable endeavour!) Does anyone do cold water
swimming
(or similar) and feel any benefit?

swimming - a metaphor
I hate
swimming
. I know how to swim. I'm not great, but I can cross a pool and tread water and float and all the other basics. And still, I hate
swimming
--because when you're
swimming
, you need to be actively keeping yourself afloat and alive the whole time.

Swimming and my OCD journey
Lifting heavy weights has also helped my mood but doesn't reduce the obsessive thinking, like
swimming
. I hope someone else suffering reads this and they try
swimming
and it helps them too. I get more relief than taking lorazapam, which I was prescribed as a young man.

Yesterday was a good day all round from seeing my manager to staff and residents, but today I feel dizzy and head
