I usually do a brisk walk but have also been
swimming
as well this week. I can’t seem to be able to enter anything else after I’ve put the details of the walk in. Thank you for reading this.

Thinking of starting Couch to 5K
When I was younger (I am now 50) I used to be extremely fit doing a lot of
swimming
and playing a lot of squash and badminton at a high level. Age has caught up with me and I have lost my fitness and gained too much weight especially in the lock down!

The positive effects of cold water swimming.
I then go in backwards and once in, stay with my shoulders covered
swimming
around until I am used to the temperature. Soon I feel fully at one with the water and completely warm.

Could you log your miles for the Vascular Awareness Month
If you are doing any walking, cycling, running or hand cycling,
swimming
, could you sign up to #TheBodyWalk here https://circulationfoundation.org.uk. We are collectively hoping to get round the 60,000 miles of the arterial tree to raise awareness of all vascular diseases.

Update on vision
slowly emerging now I had a thorough check at the eye hospital on Wednesday and I still have double vision but it changes from day to day...there is damage to the optic nerve so vision is cloudy/dim in that eye and sometimes I hardly notice the double vision...it’s horrible though I’ve managed to go

BIG BLOW UP/DAUGHTER
She said he wanted to go
swimming
so I was like OK She said picked Saturday to do it, next thing I knew she’s making plans Saturday? And didn’t care about the plans for Saturday. I BLEW UP, this isn’t the first time. So now I’m looking to move. She’s very Ungrateful.

Swimming Lessons?
My son is nearly 13 months old and I am yet to take him
swimming
. He loves being in the bath and loves his paddling pool. I initially haven't been able to afford
swimming
lessons on top of nursery fees and now since leisure centres have all been shut during covid we haven't been able to go anyway.

Advice on small trampoline for lymphoedema
I have now noticed that running makes my symptoms worse so I go
swimming
every evening which helps, but if I miss one day I feel back at square one. I also have quite bad osteoporosis and need to do weight bearing exercise for my bones.

Living with grief
I have struggled to live with this huge loss and find a way forward....here’s the positive part....my local
swimming
pool reopened a few weeks ago and I’ve been
swimming
70 lengths 4 times per week. It has transformed my mental health and is beginning to do the same to my body!

Fabulous450 & The Discovery Run In The Woods!! 🌳 🌲 🏃🏽♀️👌🏽❤️
So, my mission for the winter is to find a couple of off road locations where, I might get a little muddy, but I won’t need a
swimming
costume! 🏊♀️...😂! It was raining quite hard when I set off this morning 🌧 🌧 🌧, but sunshine was forecast for the afternoon ⛅️ ☀️ .

Last week was challenging - chest pain and visit to A&E
Just over a week ago (Sunday 30th August) I decided to go back to
swimming
after a 5 month break. I swam 44 lengths in 50 minutes and felt great. Next day I noticed my blood pressure was higher than normal and had a chest niggle after light warm up walk and a 30 minute run.

Mobility scooter or not
I have had balance problems and arthritis for a number of years and have always coped with gym,
swimming
and Zumba. Since my heart attack my balance has got worse and I now use inhalers. I struggle with
swimming
now and I am permanently exhausted.

Duped by Coach Bennett, and Dire Straits distracting me and making me run 58 mins rather than 50!!,
Then suddenly as Coach Bennett was saying ' I'm about to count you down to the finish, Dire Straits ' Do the walk of life" came on, and I found a sudden burst of energy and found myself running in time to the beat, singing very loudly, much to the surprise of the family of village swans who were just

Swimming return
Hello everyone - After a first couple of gentle swims since March, which felt fine at the time, I’m now in agony with wrist and finger pain. I hadn’t realised a gentle swim was going to make this symptom worse but it has unfortunately. I’ve bought some silicon wrist & thumb supports to wear next time
