Swimming Pools and UTIs
And does anybody know of waterproof swimwear I could buy to enjoy
swimming
and Aqua classes again? Hoping somebody can help as I miss being in the water at home or on holiday.

In my city (260,000) there is Wheelchair Basketball, tennis, rugby, sledge hockey, floor hockey,
swimming
therapy, etc. Some things are geared for ages 4-16 and some are 14-21 and others are 20+ we also have a few non-profit respite options as well.

Tender lymph glands
Daily activity and
swimming
so no complaints except for tenderness in base of skull and along jaw line where ( I researched) there are lymph nodes . I Can definitely live with this but just wondering any one else dealing with tender lymph glands and is sometimes a result of inflammation from PMR ?

Weight gain with long distance training:
Now I’m half marathon training, running longer distances mostly slowly, five days a week,
swimming
twice a week, yoga every day, I’ve gained three quarters of a stone. My diet is exactly the same, right down to how much I eat. I wasn’t
swimming
and doing yoga in December.

New to this site but determined to lose weight
I know I can't run as drag my leg but am desperate to get back on my bike and increase my
swimming
to be able to swim for an hour like my pre-stroke self. A little worried about counting calories but I am sure I will get my head round it.

Getting some kind of life back
I don’t live right near a pool or anything so if I went
swimming
it would have to be limited to once or twice a week because i am still learning to drive so my mum would need to take me and she doesn’t really like taking me places.

An Underrated Hobby of Mine
I really enjoy these moments like one might enjoy jumping in a
swimming
pool on a blistering summer day or sniffing the glorious aroma of an 86 Pichon Lalande. Let me be clear, however, that I'm not a glutton for punishment.

swimming after avr
Hi looking for advice on how long My son should wait before going in the
swimming
pool. We are hoping to get away for a few nights and he will be 6 and half weeks post op. Just wondered if this was too soon to have a little dip (obviously wont be doing lengths). Thanks

Bad night, good day
I got in my car and drove 45 minutes to the Gulf of Mexico, jumped in the water and went
swimming
. What a pleasure that was. I don't know how I was feeling well enough to do that, but I'm grateful. Such a joy to swim on such a beautiful day.

Feet and

Hi wondering if anyone can help? I’ve had RA positive since 1980 and now aged 70 I’ve need knee and hip replacement in the last 6 months. I am recovering well and now want to add
swimming
to my recovery program.

Impatience
Saw doc on return who said I was heading for new knee and referred me to musculoskeletal physio who referred me to
swimming
and other exercises. I Am not against anything to help but I am very busy with a disabled relative and and need to get back to normal walking and driving asap.

Androgenetic alopecia
I am in many ways fit, healthy and active - love walking, wild
swimming
, those kinds of things. The hair on the top of my head became thin when I was in my twenties and has become worse, including a receding hair line. But at the moment I do not generally wear any kind of hair piece.
