Friday's long run
After 3 days away for work, including a 30 minute run on my birthday (Wednesday) and 2 sets of
swimming
on Tuesday and Thursday, I had a lovely 45 minute run this morning at my new slow pace 0.5kph faster than my old slow pace.

Halloween: The Perfect time to add my new Profile Picture, and yes, I feel as "good" as it looks!!
Imagine us, awkwardly responding with a weak smile to the disapproving looks of other adult customers after they looked down at our happy, smiling , grubby girls proudly sporting badges that said , " I'm a strong
swimming
sperm , Let me loose! " , and , " I'm a happy Ova , Fertilise Me!" .

2 1/2 years after ablation the beast showed up again first time
Did sport,
swimming
, walking, did ride my HD, got energy back, all pretty fine. Over the last couple of weeks my ectopics increased, saw the cardiologist, did holter, nothing significant, blood test showed that cholesterol went down. All happy.

Unintended Consequences
At a Parkrun later there was talk of open water
swimming
and, importantly for me, the availability of wetsuits. After much dithering I finally made it there yesterday. Without a wetsuit and I am now hooked on open water
swimming
. I swam 500m yesterday and plan to swim 1500 before the season ends.

Walking, running and swimming 1000 km’s.
This year I set myself a goal to do 1000km walking, running and
swimming
. I set this goal before I decided to do move everyday in 2019. I am currently at 991.01 km’s. So unless something drastic happens I think I will earn my medal for this year 😀.

New Loopy type person first post
Running 20 miles a week, cycling 80 miles a week, and
swimming
2 miles a week. In August, I went to another Rheumatologist for a 2nd opinion. Even though I had the PMR symptoms, I had PMR doubts because it was my 2nd episode and not even 53 years old.

Surprise discovery at private angiogram
I do daily exercise and until June was
swimming
at least a mile every day. I’m from a family of people who have had heart issues and strokes but many health care professionals have told me unless it’s your parents who have heart issues then other related people don’t count.

The Joy of Sports Massage 😊
. 👍 I did read online that tight hip flexors can cause ITB friction...so with me stretches,
swimming
and glute strengthening work, I am starting to think I might be fine for my HM 🤞. Going for a wee test run on Friday. Sadie-runs xxx

One year on! My journey!
The couch 2 5k also made me enjoy exercising so I brought myself a manual (cheap) treadmill and I started walking, cycling,
swimming
doing aerobics and using my treadmill too alongside the three 5k runs a week. At work I was ordering smaller and smaller size uniform!

Article re strokes
My computer skills are poor so this needs help ------- Today's ( 18/8/19 ) Mail on Sunday has an excellent informative article by Dr Michael Mosley who suffered a blackout whilst
swimming
in a cold sea. There is some very useful information about TIAs.

Monday's short run
I have 3 days in one of my employer's offices, my hotel has both a gym and a pool so
swimming
tomorrow and then a nice 30 minute run on Wednesday. I'm hoping to see a personal trainer before I leave for the hotel today to aid in my fitness and weight loss journey. Happy running everyone.

Half Marathon Group! 😄 Let's talk training plans!!!
Cycling,
swimming
, and yoga are the most popular. I'm a big fan of strength work too - be it bodyweight (yoga covers this to a certain extent) or lifting, but I've noticed some plans give it a miss!

Foot Update
I'm really not a fan of
swimming
. Well, that's not entirely true, swimming's fine, it all the people I struggle with! Anywho, this is pertinent information 'cos I'm banned from running for 4-6 weeks so it's all bike and swim for me, which sucks.

Lupus is so underestimated by so many people.
Very rarely I get to go to a disabled
swimming
club. A far cry from the fit person that I used to be. I have had to find less active things to enjoy. Taking more pleasure from the less active type of activities.

HM training week9 day2 tempo run
😂 I’m seriously glad it’s a non running day and just
swimming
tomorrow, as I need a break. I can honestly say if I’d had to run a half marathon today, I wouldn’t have got round,

Exercising with Lupus Disease
Currently, I am doing
swimming
lessons every Sunday which I really enjoy. I feel like I need to do more. I am not comfortable with my body and the steroids I am taking has increased my weight a lot.
