March MATness Day 23: Swimming
The 24th exercise for March 23 gets us
swimming
! No, don’t worry, you won’t need a pool… We’ll be doing it on our trusted mat. Andrea Maida points out: “And now we bend the other way…oh and let’s do it one side at a time while we’re at it, cause we’ve been here before, right?”

CHC Funded Carers Role at home-what does your carer do?
How do you make it work with a new person spending so much time in your home - it will give me the opportunity to go out, go
swimming
, shopping, dog walking but of course I will be in much of the time doing the normal stuff at home?

Osteochondral defect, loose bodies in the knee and Baker's cyst.
The pain is depriving me from
swimming
, my most comfortable means exercise. I am resting the knee for the next couple of days because am back to work on Thursday. I have been referred to orthopedics with a recommendation of surgery. Please any advice on home remedies for painkillers or managing.

Day of my CPET appointment is finally here
cause , hopefully then I’ll soon get a follow up appointment with cardiology to see if I can safely start heart rehab as my cardiologist mentioned he thinks I need it (due to me having pericarditis in 2020) )after I’d had this test what the situation is so I can move on and hopefully be allowed to go

Tapering - have I got it wrong?
I felt fantastic and within a month started slowly to increase my level of exercise and activity, so that by June I was
swimming
& doing pilates/yoga as normal, both I previously had to give up due to pain. I followed GP advice on tapering.

Welcome to Spain
I will have to get
swimming
later and do my exercises the physio has given via an app so she will know I have done them or not lol! I am recovering from a serious shoulder injury which is why I have used couch to 5k as a rehab tool! Which is working well!

A Missed Goal
I have used an electric heated vest for open water
swimming
and my knowledge base with that experience may be helpful. -I have over a $1000 in winter gear and know how to use it.

Side effects of Lamotrigine - too high a dose?
I feel like my brain works more slowly, I can't get my words out, and sometimes become much more aware suddenly of what I'm doing or my surroundings (e.g. walking,
swimming
). Has anyone had a similar experience?

Healthy diet/ nutrition for fibromyalgia/cfsme/arthritis etc
I love
swimming
and even 🧘♀️ yoga, but it’s becoming harder to do🙄 I know I need to lose weight and eat as healthy as I can, the cfs/me specialist recommended seeing a nutritionist than personalise something for me and my gp should sort it.

Diarrhoea
The only other tiny coincidence is that I have had diarrhoea on Tuesday and Thursday morning this week, after going
swimming
Monday and Wednesday evenings. Surely not?! The diarrhoea does not make me feel bad, but it is a worry.

waterproof PICC covers
I’ve just finished my chemo and am hoping to go
swimming
again. I still have a PICC line in for my regular Avastin and would like a completely waterproof cover for it. Does anyone have any recommendations?
