I
quit
smoking
1 year 9 days ago and I've gained 30lbs since July of 2017. I need to lost almost 100 lbs to get what I should weigh at. I've tried the low calorie diet before and get tired of counting. Now I'm going to try the low carb diet.

Day One
Hello :) I woke up this morning and decided that I was going to
quit
smoking
today. Every other time I've tried to
quit
it's been a planned process that always failed, so I'm hopeful that maybe because this has been on a whim that it will be different.

New to hypothyroidism
My weight is really getting me down as I have gained a stone and a half (I was already classed as obese) and although I have
quit
smoking
7 months ago and tried to diet, I am unable to shift the weight. Any help or advise would be much appreciated. My brain is currently frazzled!

Well it's been 1 year 6 days since I
quit
smoking
. Yes there are benefits that I love but I hate how I've gained 30 lbs. Now I'm working on that slowly but surely. As far as smoking.. I ask myself is it worth it and part of me says yes the other no.

First run done!!
The run was an uphill struggle as I am looking to
quit
smoking
so my breathing was hard towards the end. Any tips to help me as I continue down this journey would be appreciated and I am happy to have joined this community!

Hi all, my name is John, I have
quit
smoking
about 3 months now, after 40 odd years. My problem now is I find i have problems breathing, can't seem to have a meal, or s few beers, or I find myself struggling to breath, not a happy bunny. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

OMG 7...almost 8...days!
Dr told me to
quit
smoking
, minimize stress, not gain weight and no exercise until we get my tests! I am watching what I eat and have substituted my cigs with pickles and celery but still gained 3 pounds last week. I blame the "bunny" this weekend LOL!

Is there any way I request a test to see if I have a clogged artery?
Fortunately for me, no sooner had I
quit
smoking
than the pain departed from me. However there has still been a handful of times in which it has returned, the most recent of which being just under a week ago whilst I was out shopping and lasting for about 20 seconds.

Hello 3rd Trimester!
You know I can't even tell you how long it has been since I
quit
smoking
? I think it is coming up on six months now... Anyway it would NOT have happened without you all. Monday marked the beginning of my 3rd trimester and I am sooooo ready to have this baby.

Miscarriage b12 level help please x
My hemoglobin is slightly over range but that is due to me
smoking
, obviously I would have
quit
due to pregnancy but it was not planned so never knew. Usually my b12 sits at 220, but last one was 500 as I had tried supplementing so false high level.
