Learning how to chill

I've never been good at meditation / reflection / etc. But was looking at Martin Shaw's (the actor) story. Back in the 70's he was a hellraiser and suffered injuries and even a fractured skull in a fight - but discovered the value of meditation and a spiritual path. He quit drinking, smoking and fighting and rebuilt his life - inspiring story.

Hi Brydon2018 ,

There are certainly some positives to meditation - I am trying to do more of that - and have found it personally of benefit. There are some resources on NHS Choices, if you want to have a look - for example this one about Bedtime Meditation:

Hearing what you said about Martin Shaw finding benefit for his life, that does sound inspiring.

Hope you're enjoying your week.
