W1R2 Done!!

Thank you to all who encouraged and offered advice to my first post.

I am sure these helped me today and yes R2 completed, so pleased. Different today, harder at the beginning (not that any of it was easy 😝) but first 3 were like struggling through swamp then eased a bit. Breathing still difficult but early days. I feel a quit smoking day approaching! Kinda like this running lark so want to give myself every opportunity to succeed.

Anyway enough rambling, must be the little afterglow. Once again big thanks.

Well done! Full brownie points if you quit smoking! :P

Smoking doesn't help, I am sure, but you should be doing a gentle jogging pace at which you can carry on a conversation, without gasping. If you can't, you are going too fast.

It is all explained in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Well done, it will get easier.

Take the advice of IannodaTruffe ... and yes... ditch the evil weed:)

Well done for completing W1R2 and admitting to liking this running lark. Feel free to ramble about your run, this is the right place for it, it's great that you've enjoyed that afterglow. Now if you ditch the glow sticks as well just think how much easier it will be. Not nagging just encouraging. Enjoy your rest day and have a good time on run 3. :-)

Oh thank you for your words of encouragement. I agree with you and do feel the "glow sticks" have an end date.
