Quitting smoking?
Has anyone on here
quit
smoking
cigarettes? With everything going on I just feel like it would be in my best interest to stop smoking. I have been smoking since I was 14 and I am now 20 years old soon to be 21. I never really tried to quit before so I'm not really sure what to expect.

40 days smoke free
Ive saved $553.00 according to my
quit
smoking
app but I know it would be more than that. On the weekends when I was out and about and had the mornings to leisurely enjoy my coffee I'm sure I went through at least 2 packs instead of 1 a day.

4 years since I.......what was it?
I
quit
smoking
in October 2012. In fact, I had to check which year that was. The reason for having to check is........I have forgotten about smoking. Yes, forgotten. That is not a typo. Don't listen to ex-smokers who moan that they still want a cigarette. I don't want one.

Here goes my first day, again.
I tried two times to
quit
the first I stayed 7 days without
smoking
and it was horrible due to craving. The last time I stayed 2 days with mo craving due to my tricks but midterm stress got me rushing to the old habit. Years of smoking : 6 years of smoking half a pack a day.

Years of COPD
I'm 71 years old and I've been
smoking
for 52 years. I have tried to
quit
several times but couldn't. I quit 2 months ago and just smoked another one earlier today. I am trying so hard but it is so hard. I'm using the patches and they seem to help.

Do I really need to give up wine, coffee and running?
Apart from that I eat very healthily and have
quit
smoking
. Does anyone have any tips as to how I can get my period back?? It really concerns me since I want to know I am able to conceive when I want to. Is it really essential to go Tee total and totally caffeine free?

Hello
I used it / your all's support back when I
quit
smoking
may 31, 2013. Back then the forum was different, which is why it took me a long time to find it again, but i finally did through my email. Sadly, i started smoking again August 8, 2014.

What could be the cause for my chest tightness/pressure?
Luckily the pain has not been as severe since I
quit
smoking
6 months ago but I still feel it almost daily. Still the same tightness and pressure, lasts for 10 to 15 minutes.

Hi everyone! ~ I'm 68 and live in Cornwall, UK. I have followed this support group right through my journey and now after 10 months, I can honestly say after many years, I'm a non-smoker. I had my last cigarette on November 2nd at 8.30am ~ I remember it clearly as it was such a milestone in my life.
