4 years since I.......what was it?
I
quit
smoking
in October 2012. In fact, I had to check which year that was. The reason for having to check is........I have forgotten about smoking. Yes, forgotten. That is not a typo. Don't listen to ex-smokers who moan that they still want a cigarette. I don't want one.

Here goes my first day, again.
I tried two times to
quit
the first I stayed 7 days without
smoking
and it was horrible due to craving. The last time I stayed 2 days with mo craving due to my tricks but midterm stress got me rushing to the old habit. Years of smoking : 6 years of smoking half a pack a day.

Years of COPD
I'm 71 years old and I've been
smoking
for 52 years. I have tried to
quit
several times but couldn't. I quit 2 months ago and just smoked another one earlier today. I am trying so hard but it is so hard. I'm using the patches and they seem to help.

Do I really need to give up wine, coffee and running?
Apart from that I eat very healthily and have
quit
smoking
. Does anyone have any tips as to how I can get my period back?? It really concerns me since I want to know I am able to conceive when I want to. Is it really essential to go Tee total and totally caffeine free?

Question 3 Play wait and see and keep losing weight and
quit
smoking
and continue walking. I'm lost and aggravated and I don't want to be on meds for either but it's starting to force me to do something.

Hello
I used it / your all's support back when I
quit
smoking
may 31, 2013. Back then the forum was different, which is why it took me a long time to find it again, but i finally did through my email. Sadly, i started smoking again August 8, 2014.

What could be the cause for my chest tightness/pressure?
Luckily the pain has not been as severe since I
quit
smoking
6 months ago but I still feel it almost daily. Still the same tightness and pressure, lasts for 10 to 15 minutes.

10 months Free!
Hi everyone! ~ I'm 68 and live in Cornwall, UK. I have followed this support group right through my journey and now after 10 months, I can honestly say after many years, I'm a non-smoker. I had my last cigarette on November 2nd at 8.30am ~ I remember it clearly as it was such a milestone in my life.

I very recently just started smoking again after having quit many months ago. Is this going to hinder recovery?
Hey there I
quit
smoking
many months ago. Now what have I done? Started again. It's been a stressful time, and literally everyone I know at the moment smokes like a fucking 20th Century Cruise Liner. Already I feel unhealthy. That said, when I get really stressed I can smoke a cigarette...

How old is everyone?
I'm only 50 and
quit
smoking
13 years ago. Still need to undergo tests for firm diagnoses but GP thinks I'm heading that way. Devastated 😢😢😢 watched my Mother slowly die from this horrible disease.

Hello people.... I quit back in March 2016 on the 28th.
I
quit
smoking
during a scary time in my life. My first ever anxiety attack... I was a mess and a wreck, but the shortness of breathe and heart palps scared me solid, I threw my pack out and didn't look back..... Until 8 weeks ago I started again.....

Confusing symptoms.
I
quit
smoking
4 years ago when I got pregnant with my first child. I smoked from the age of 17,18. My BMI is normal, I am 5"8 - 140 pounds. Several weeks ago we went on holiday and I believe my lungs got irritated by swimming in some water which had an algal bloom.

Week 1 day 2
I was already 105 kilos when I decided to
quit
smoking
. I am now two months smoke free and I gained extra 6 kilograms. I know however feel that I am in a right place to finally change my habits, to start loving myself, to enjoy food and to get healthier. Wish me luck :)

Question need personal experience on this.
I've lost 60 pounds this year, trying to
quit
smoking
, watching my salt intake, I'm a 31 year old male. Anxiety sucks and I know this is a grey area but I'm trying to weigh my options.
