Has quitting smoking and not eating sugar and salt snacks fixed my High Blood pressure?
I
quit
smoking
a year ago, and I recently stopped eating any sugar or salt snacks. I have noticed my BP has been been alot lower as of late , such as 116/64 to 128/74. The other thing I have noticed is my Heart rate seems to have gone lower also, like seems to stay around 55 at rest.

Three months ago I
quit
smoking
for health issues. Last week I lost my job. I'm on medication for years and there is no magic pill for this pandemic. Any suggestions?

Hello
Staying
quit
. But, if we get really ill from
smoking
, that's going to be terribly difficult. So, trying to press on and persevere and stay and continue to be free from smoking.

red tide and copd
I had
quit
smoking
35 years ago. I had never even had a cold in my lungs ever. The only thing I can think of was I went deep sea fishing ,while we were out there fishing we noticed the bait we would catch was dying. To find out the Red tide was out and awful.

I’m starting today to quit smoking, so this is my day one since it’s 12:05 pm!!!
Day one—- excited to stop smoking and to live a more healthful life. My throat hurts, my lungs hurt, and my mind hurts from being mad at myself every time I smoke. I need help😳

Week 1 run 1
Well I just finished my week 1 run 1, and for someone who just
quit
smoking
and couldn't even walk for very long without getting out of breath I'm proud I managed to do it. I feel so much better now I've done my first one. :)

Messed up... back at it!
I eventually ended up
smoking
again and stopped running... and now I've
quit
smoking
again and beginning running all over. At least this time I know what I'm in for! Starts today over the lunch hours.

Please help! Calf and shin pain while running :-(
To
quit
smoking
too so absolutely loving the couch to 5k plan. Since I started I have had calf and shin pain. I presumed it was down to my poor fitness but I have had to stick to week 2 runs for an extra 2 times as I keep having to stop due to severe pain.

Anxious and backpain
I have this back pain after I
quit
smoking
for 9 days. Is this normal? I'm overthinking things. It makes me anxious and scared. Because of the happenings these days. Especially we have this pandemic happening.

Recent ex-smoker, first time poster
I’ve gained a significant amount of weight since I started trying to
quit
smoking
. It makes me feel miserable, and I’ve had weight issues and disordered eating in the past.

REALLY Struggling! Can't even complete first run
Quit
smoking
a few days ago (after 6 years of about 10-15 a day) I have asthma and well managed CFS/ME I really want to complete the app for my health as I feel like I gave up on myself when I got diagnosed with ME and started smoking more etc. 💔

Calf muscle cramps?
I started C25k the week after I
quit
smoking
. I’m now W2R2. My biggest problem is not shortage of breath but severe calf cramps - I can just about manage 60s but I can’t repeat the 90s runs in full after the first interval. I realise this must be from clogged arteries from smoking.
