Healing From F.N.D
i have to
quit
this is the big one for me but i have a plan and support. It is my conclusion that it is damage to the nerves that had given me F.N.D symptoms.I know not every one is a smoker but do believe nerve damage to be the cause this is something that will not show up with brain scans. My research

TAKING IT ONE DAY AT A TIME! ;)
Hi, I recently decided to give up smoking and so far I'm on day 4 of no
smoking
, I
quit
cold turkey because I know that reducing the ammount I smoked never worked, because as soon as I got it reduced enough I'd get stressed and it would go straight back up.

Missed Optimum Quit Time Champix?
Anyhoo, around day 6-8 I really was disliking smoking and forgetting to go for cig breaks and generally not enjoying it - however, the nurse had told me to
quit
st day 14 so mentally I wasn’t quite ready.

Shortness of breathe
I
quit
smoking
after 30 odd years with Champix. I'm 60. Almost immediately, I experienced really bad SOB. After seeing the doctor and having various tests was told this could be COPD.

24 Days Nicotine free
I
quit
smoking
cold turkey 24 days ago after smoking for 24 years. It does not feel like a big accomplishment to me. Maybe it's because I
quit
smoking
last year for 33 days and started again. 2 years before I quit I cut down to 2 to 5 cigarettes a day.

Stuck at current weight
I
quit
smoking
in January which has become my main priority but apart from a couple of crazy food cravings in the first couple of weeks of qutting smoking, my diet has been fairly ok. I have increased my exercise, am running 3 times a week and going to gym and pool.

Anxiety or heart issues?
I recently
quit
smoking
, and it was causing all sorts of issues. The chest pain got to the point of me not being able to take it anymore. So I went to get checked out. Ekg, blood work, and urine were all “normal” my bp was 138/92 when I got there. 115/78 once I calmed down and 120/85 when I left.

Do wrinkles go away when you quit smoking?? does skin regain elasticity
Hi! I've had several attempts of quitting cold turkey but I end up caving and then saying I'm cutting back but never do. Im restarting today for my health. After 3 years of smoking I also have been noticing WRINKLES and sagging skin. Im 21 so this sucks for me. To anyone who's quit. Do they go away and

Time to stop
I've decided to
quit
the habit after over 3 decades of
smoking
. I wouldn't describe myself as a heavy smoker; I smoke about 6 or 7 a day Monday to Friday (not at weekends, only at work), but I find it so difficult to get out of this habit.

After lobectomy
Quit
smoking
4 years ago but a long time smoker. No copd or emphysema. I was back to work in 2 weeks. No further treatments. Pretty easy recovery for me overall. My problem-question is that I am still pretty short of breath at times. Yesterday I saw a pulmonologist. I had a chest X-ray, alls good.
