I

Ouch
I don't want to." but then I woke up really frightened and calmed down when I realized it was ONLY a dream and thanked God for giving me the willpower to
quit
smoking
. I still can't believe how scared I was... And also, how mad I was, and ashamed of myself.

New to this forum.
Hi all. I haven't had a cigarette since 11 February. I must admit that of the 10 or so that I used to smoke per day I do still miss 2- 3 of them. I was told I have mild copd in February so really I have quit cos I'm scared and for no other reason. I also smoked a joint most nights so have stopped that

Nicotine & benefits in gastrointestinal tract
My specialist had told me that they knew that nicotine does help with the bowel, that nicotine smoothes the lining of the bowel and that people who had
quit
smoking
were more susceptible to IBD.

Hello Folks - Two weeks in and shattered.
This obviously freaked me out and after a few days I decided that I needed to
quit
smoking
too. So, I did, at 8am on the 22nd March I stubbed out my last cigarette.

My first day
Hi it's my first day of not
smoking
. I wanted to
quit
for a wile now. I've been feeling sick an not enjoying my cigi for about a month, but I kept smoking anyway. I have stopped enjoying my food and had lost any appetite I might have had long time ago.

Surgery cancelled
I think every time I've tried to give up I've had different symptoms. I've been looking at my posts 2 years ago (prev attempt) I had a terrible cough that eventually went away. This time I've just had a bad bout of a cold that went on for weeks. It developed into a wrenching cough but it's getting better

I can't cope without Nicoteen!
Ideally we should all be looking to
quit
smoking
and not be dependant upon nicotine, which is the reason we all know that it so hard not to smoke. However, for some, like myself it's easier said than done. That is until I tried vaping, and now I DONT SMOKE.
