Little stepping Stones
Surprised it didn’t feel that hard and even continued slow
running
for 5 mins after the intervals rather than straight to a warm down walk. I also recommend the pre and post run exercises in the app.

As I mentioned in a previous post I did very little
running
in the last 6 months of last year due one injury after another. This year too I have had a few persistent niggles which while not stopping me run have made progress a bit slower than I would have liked.

Bonjour from over here !
It's been a great weekend of
running
. I'm getting back bit by bit. Just posting to say I've crossed our lovely 10K Bridge again. Feels great doesn't it? Damien

Week 6 completed
Haven’t been out
running
for a week as looking after 4 year old granddaughter. Must have done quite a lot of
running
around as managed 25 minute continuous run today! Went out with no expectations, just thought, I’ll see how far I’ll get and I nailed it! Perfect
running
conditions warm, light rain.

How has your
been this week? What sorts of runs have you been doing? Have you had any triumphs or challenges? What are your plans for next week? I’ve had a great week. I’m aiming to be
running
three times a week consistently and I’ve hit that with three very different runs.

Glandular Fever virus and PMR?
I eventually started jogging/
running
and in 2009 joined a local
running
club. I never looked back and if you have read my bio/initial post where I was diagnosed with PMR on 20th October 2023, I was competing at GB level (age group) for Swim, Bike (Triathlon without the run).

After a week of heavy cold & no
running
10k seemed a bit of an ask! Planned to start at 9am but left things till the last minute as usual, late pre stretches, couldn't find spotify playlist, sunscreen application eventually out of the door by 9.10.

Restart
I completed couch to 5k a few years ago & loved the experience - I was then addicted to
running
, to the freedom, how it helped clear my mind, distressed me, made me fitter, I could go on .

How to tell the difference
Today out of nowhere I have the most horrendous pain
running
up my thump wrist and forearm. It not the same as my normal pain and so it got me thinking How do I tell the difference between my fibro pain and there is actually a problem?

Any tips for ankle pain?
I’m just concerned it’s going to get worse and I don’t want to stop
running
so any tips would be great! Is this something an ankle support would help with? Thanks in advance!
