What is your normal pace?
As I mentioned in a previous post I did very little
running
in the last 6 months of last year due one injury after another. This year too I have had a few persistent niggles which while not stopping me run have made progress a bit slower than I would have liked.

NRC 10k plan Apple Watch not syncing
I use my Apple Watch whilst
running
which is fine but although it is recording the runs on the Activity section on the iPhone app the Plan doesn’t recognise I’ve completed any runs let alone the first week?

First week of post-grad runs done
We were going to attempt more
running
with the dogs but think we will get a few more runs under our belts first as I have a feeling that
running
with the dogs may be a disaster!!

Making the most of the sunshine
I've promised myself that I'm going to increase my distances so decided to carry on
running
, speeding up a bit. I passed an acquaintance who asked why I was still
running
when my husband had turned in the other direction.

What s happening in our NHS ?- All the shortages.
Two examples - I take Amiodarone for AF and other fast heart beats, I have had to have my prescription sent to another village, and they are
running
short. Glandosane synthetic saliva spray - Dry mouth is dross to put it mildly. no pharmacy near where I live has any.

Knees (again...)
I started
running
only 8 months ago, I am 52. I started as I have always seen people of all shapes, sizes and ages
running
but I have not been able to. My brother in law even managed it and he is rather lazy and unfit.

W31R1 - super slow on the snow
Today I started week 31 of my renewed
running
with a super slow run in the snow. 7 kilometers had to be enough today. It's still snowing heavily. I have no idea how I will be able to run on Wednesday. But I'm thankful I didn't stay home today! I wish everyone a happy run! :-)

London Vitality 10000
I’m writing this on the train home (so excuse the wobbly writing 😆) on Monday the day after
running
the London Vitality 10000. After parkrun on Saturday we got a train to London and to the hotel. Very excited to be
running
in this event for the second time.

Keeping on keeping on
Whenever I have a set back with illness or injury I always come back to
running
but I have a terrible tendency to get stuck on
running
shorter distances. I will run 2.5-3k and feel quite comfortable but I'll keep putting off going longer distances. It's ridiculous. I did C25k in 2019.

need motivation
Again, I feel like I am
running
out of time.
Running
out of time to spend with my family, friends, pets. Or just experiencing life. This makes me scared that maybe this is the universe telling me that it might be my time soon (I would never influence this by my own hand).

Any tips for ankle pain?
I’m just concerned it’s going to get worse and I don’t want to stop
running
so any tips would be great! Is this something an ankle support would help with? Thanks in advance!
