Finished
Couch to 5K finished, I started on 11th August finishing my last run on Saturday 29th whilst
running
my 3rd park run in 34 minutes and 12 seconds, who would have thought it, I remember those first runs ( what a killer) anybody starting or still trying to complete their runs, if I can do it so can you

Negative Splits Conquered
I did some research and found out that
running
negative splits would train me to finish strong and leave me feeling better at the end, so I thought I would give it a go. Every time I tried in 2023, I failed. It’s so hard to run in a controlled manner!

CATCH-up-CORNER...WEEK 3...Slip off the running shoes and come on in!
Maybe, if you have been
running
over the last few weeks, you are beginning to see and feel the seasonal changes... maybe you have run in the rain for the first time?

Just had Bronchiectasis flare up. ? due to cold weather.. has that happened to anyone else ? are there temp guidelines for us bronchs?
Hadn’t had a cold or cough / not unwell … I can only put it down to the fact that I played tennis 3 days
running
… indoors …but when it was that very cold spell & it was cold inside ….? Caused lung inflammation? Has this happened to anyone else?

Week 6 completed
Haven’t been out
running
for a week as looking after 4 year old granddaughter. Must have done quite a lot of
running
around as managed 25 minute continuous run today! Went out with no expectations, just thought, I’ll see how far I’ll get and I nailed it! Perfect
running
conditions warm, light rain.

1st run Bridge to 10K
Thought the idea of
running
four lots of 10 minutes with 1 minute break after each sounded very doable, having run for 38 minutes non stop previously! How wrong I was, I did do it but was surprised how hard that last 10 minutes felt.

finding it hard 😏
I’m taking it really slow because I’ve had loads of trouble with my calves, ive recently had my gait done and got some
running
shoes (which I’m struggling with) I’ve been to a sports injury place and had my calves massaged because there are knots in them that just won’t budge - I’m beginning to wonder

My
running
has been taking a back seat for the last couple of weeks and it was really FOMO that got me out of the door!! I originally planned to run on Sunday.

Hot run, sore thighs!
So I was excited to buy some
running
shorts, which had a Lycra inner short with a flared over short to cover those bobbly bits I didn’t want to reveal! Waited till 6.40pm to let the air cool a bit but it was still too warm for me really.
