This time feels different to the last few, I'm thinking about
running
, planning
running
, missing
running
on those non-run days. I've also started James Dunne's 30 day strength challenge, only for non-run days. I think my plan of attack needs to be to have a plan!

Hooray - it’s finally fun!
As someone who once loved
running
, but have been off with injuries and illness for 4-5 years, and found the programme really tough, I am ecstatic to have found the fun again. I know there will always be good and bad runs, but it has been so long since my last truly joyful one.

The key thing is to keep it steady and remember you’ve got a whole lifetime of
running
ahead of you. Previously, we feel we have taken a very strict line on not
running
for longer than 30 minutes (or 5k if that’s what you did during the programme).

Short Version: I’ve got a small head, I bought a head-torch, sent it back, did some running.
Next week, I’ll starting putting a bit more structure into the
running
. So, that’s it! What a week! Keep
running
everyone, with your big heads and your hats that aren’t filled with polyfiller. You don’t know how good you’ve got it.

Work - the curse of the Running Class! ;)
Running
will never be 'easy' for me - but it sure got a LOT better :) 'Run at a pace you can hold a conversation at' - unless, like me, you have lungs that barely function when
running
.

NRC 10k Plan: 555 second run
This second year of
running
, I’ve really embraced
running
for time rather than distance and it was nice to have the validity of that reinforced by the run. If I’d stopped when the run ended, I’d have felt short changed because I was just coming to the end of warning up and hitting my stride!

Couch to 5k injury
I followed NHS website where you brisk walk for 5 mins then alternate between 60 secs
running
and 90 secs walk over 20 mins then finally walk for another 5mins. The pain is so bad I can hardly walk on my right leg. Ibuprofen and paracetomol and Ice packs with rest seem to help.

Starting a YouTube channel is good rehab.
I got it up and
running
by the beginning of the year. Learning all the tech was hard but I managed to make a few videos that are really bad quality, learned from them and adjusted the way I made them.

Weekly Catch Up, 31st July - 4th Aug
Anyway, the reason for the T Shirt picture, is this; what slogan would you have on your t- shirt that would describe either your
running
or something about your
running
???? I thought about this when
running
on Saturday. I later saw the t-shirt pictured on a website and it did make me chuckle.

A rest day walk
Will someone please tell me legs they aren't
running
today? They so want to. A friend came for a visit this morning and we went for a walk round the park so I thought I'd put it here with a photo.

A toughed-out 5k: An investment in my future
My stamina has definitely increased with
running
, but I've some way to go. However, for so long it was half a step forward, one (or two) steps back.
Running
has taken me a couple of steps forward and today is half a step back. I am (slowly) getting there, I think. Happy
running
, folks.

Stopping Kevzara
I am still getting hot flames
running
up my arms and legs, which I know is the inflammation. But I had those when on the jabs. Or am I just kidding myself and next week I will feel lousy again?

Finally finished C25K
I liked
running
a few years ago (quite a few) then trained for the great North Run and hated it and stopped
running
. It's taken about 5 years of stop start to finally finish C25K. Anyone doubting themselves or the programme, don't.

NRC 10k plan - run 2
Minor setback, I'd forgotten to dry my
running
kit yesterday but never mind, for a run of less than 10 minutes any old trackies would do.. The run itself went very quickly and before I knew it I was home again. Told my husband I was back, he said I was so quick he hardly realised I was gone.

Week4 Run3
Completed run 3 yesterday, really enjoyed the run and tried
running
the first two segments slower so that I could pick up the pace on the last two run segments, I did achieve that, but it made very little difference to my overall time, I think my asthma is improving, but I have been a bit more vigilant

A very grey, under caffeinated 8k!
running
everyone. Every time you’re out there it’s a win, whatever you think about it.
