Today I enjoyed concentrating a bit more on my posture as I was doing the
running
segments. I'm looking forward to moving on to week 3 and slightly longer
running
stretches now! No dogs today, thankfully 😊

My doctors are

test to determine if it's psychological or nerve damage, and what might have caused the symptoms. But, since starting Strattera the symptoms have decreased, and are almost totally gone.

Packing for holidays as a runner…
It struck me as I was packing that what I now take with me has changed quite a bit since I started
running
. Before I packed anything else, sort out the run kit. First dilemma: how many pairs of trainers? The weather forecast is a bit rubbish so that means they might get very wet.

Second run of week 8 completed and feeling good
As warmup walks go, it did not do what it says on the tin, I was still freezing by the time we started
running
. Luckily there was no wind and so once
running
I started to warm up a bit. I do find the cooler weather better for
running
.

Saturday morning 5K 😊
I was
running
alongside a seasoned runner from the club, the only man representing the
running
group there today. He’s an active member of a trail
running
group, too. Bracknell parkrun has quite a few inclines and one short hill. This is the famous “What Hill?”

Little stepping Stones
Surprised it didn’t feel that hard and even continued slow
running
for 5 mins after the intervals rather than straight to a warm down walk. I also recommend the pre and post run exercises in the app.

My HU10k today
I'd only done around 5 minutes
running
when I spotted this post box. I had to take a pic, but unfortunately I also inadvertently saved my run!!! Ahh, do I start again or manually stitch 2 runs to find a time? Off I set again.

feeling sore
my problem is despite doing pre and post run stretches I cannot get my calves to loosen off, as soon as I start
running
/jogging they tighten up and by the end of the run they are so sore. Anyone have any suggestions for this please?

The Vasty Fields of France
Shakespeare’s ‘vasty fields of France’ were very very soggy on Sunday morning and it was still raining when I joined the Eymet
Running
Club for their Sunday run. However there was no wind and the temperature was pleasant, perfect for the HU Spring 10k.

1st question re cardioversion
I want to get back into
running
but have an issue with shortness of breath - not on machines but walking or
running
, so I think it's about carrying my weight.

Week 5r2 done.
I had iced it and it didn't feel too hot either so went for it. 8 mins
running
.....well not quite
running
but moved for the whole time. Second 8 mins was much easier. Its just that initial breathing to get right. It will happen. Onwards and upwards.
