I didn’t know if I’d be able to come back…..
This damage was caused by my
running
gait. My legs sort of ‘fell in’ and put undue pressure, strain and impact on these muscles. I was advised that although I had done everything correctly as regards the
running
programme from C25km right up to 10km, my core was weak. I did nothing for 6/8 weeks.

Parkrun #9 Complete
Finished my 9th local Parkrun now, and since starting I have discovered the joy of
running
outdoors! I have also managed to shave over 10 minutes off my PB and Parkrun is now becoming my weekly fast run.

I’m enjoying spending the 1st of March with my feet up and no
running
kit in sight. 118km over 29 days, all run outside whatever the weather, is a respectable achievement, but I am glad it is finished! The final week and a day (bloomin leap year!)

Ouch!
I bought new
running
shoes becuase my last trainers were no good and though this would help but it hasn't. I just feel like I'm having to stop before I've really got started! What should I do, carry on through the pain or give it a break and then start again? Thanks

Garmin HM coach.
I’m on my second week of 1/2 marathon training with coach Greg on Garmin, but I am
running
less kms and slower than I would normally. As it’s my first Garmin coaching foray, I was wandering if this is normal to get everything back to basics? My usual
running
week is: 10k, 5k and 10k.

How has your
been this week? What sorts of runs have you been doing? Have you had any triumphs or challenges? What are your plans for next week? I’ve had a great week. I’m aiming to be
running
three times a week consistently and I’ve hit that with three very different runs.

(FINAL!!!!!) Day 7 of the James Dunne 7-Day Challenge
That I am more conscious of my glutes when
running
and walking also probably helps. So has it helped you? Will you integrate the exercise in some way into your routines? And how?

Back at 30 minutes post injury 🥳
I guess that's why they have pacer in
running
groups! I am going to try using songs for pacing (bpm as spm). Any other recos for how to get there
running
solo?

NRC Starting Line - Run 1: ADVICE WELCOMED
It feels like a step backwards and part of me was thinking I was already on my own journey to increase my
running
time, so I could maybe jump into Week 2 or 3 of this, but I followed the "rules".

🍏When it all goes wrong 😑
🙌 I do love
running
even on the days with no high and no joy! I take them because every time I get out there I am a winner! I learn about myself, about my
running
and how to keep on keeping on. If you are struggling put those trainers back on and try again. The love will return.

Week 4, Enventually...
Not, as far as I know, in a way
running
related; I went to bed fine and woke up injured. The result being that week 4 was postponed for 2 weeks.

BBC request - looking for experiences of tinnitus amongst gamers
Hi All We've been contacted today by the BBC who are
running
a story in a few weeks on tinnitus which may have developed after wearing gaming headsets and playing games at high volume levels.

HOT STUFF...COOL RUNNING...
Although this advice is for those of us
running
in the UK, I feel sure that some of it, will apply to those of us
running
in hotter locations.
