Finally did it, a year later
The second half was even quite enjoyable and I paced myself using the NRC 10k race app and a Spotify 10k
running
mix which worked for me. Crossed the line in 69.24mins which was about 5 mins better than I thought Iād achieve.

Run the lights 10k -Blackpool
The sun was just setting at registration - I donāt really like
running
in the evening, and considering weāve just got back from a week camping with the kids I was happy with my time.

MAF Work is paying dividends š
(Insulin responce absolutely normal) And after many weeks of MAF training (Walking and
running
) I am now noticing that my workouts do not increase my HR to the he extent they used to do, infact my average on the walk was not much above a normal resting HR, In fact, it stayed in Zone 1 And Vo2 max sitting

Am I finally a runnerš¤
After the aftermath of COVID I started the couch to 5k again which I really enjoyed, but shortly after completing this and
running
regular 5k's I got a knee injury which took some time to heal and put a stop to the
running
. I started the couch to 5k again in April this year.

Let's put on an exhibition!?
Hello there everyone, I have an idea and I wanted to run it past you to see if it is worth
running
with itā¦ Before I had my TBI I used to draw and paint. I used it afterwards to help me feel better about myself and help me recover (www.lhodonovan.com).

Heart Rate Variability?
Previously I had no problems, didn't smoke or drink and was reasonably fit, doing regular
running
. I have a Garmin watch and prior to the event it would my HRV would measure around 50-60ms. Post cardiac event it was 30-35ms and more recently 35-42ms.

Short Version: Iāve got a small head, I bought a head-torch, sent it back, did some running.
Next week, Iāll starting putting a bit more structure into the
running
. So, thatās it! What a week! Keep
running
everyone, with your big heads and your hats that arenāt filled with polyfiller. You donāt know how good youāve got it.

We (well Mr Mudita) had to drive to the outskirts of London and we got the Tube in as our local trains were not

until later in the morning.

Walking certainly played a part in this !
And a lot of that journey has involved many miles of walking (and MAF
running
) But just wanted to share some good news ! I had an interim assessment with the diabetes clinic yesterday carried out on a telephone appointment. The result of which was a alteration to my medical records which now show.

longest long run
As usual I was accompanied by Jo, one of the ladies from our local
running
group whoās doing the runs just for the sake of it. š Timing was appalling - the route uses the same path as the start of the local park run, but in the opposite direction.

Week 1 was a challenge as I think I was
running
to fast. But thanks for all your posts I have read on here, and you keep saying that you need to run slowerš and it works. Knees are feeling better and I am happy with
running
now. Thank you.
