I wasn't going to run today
I really wasn't, my neighbour was
running
and I was going to walk, but it's a beautiful day.I was sat thinking about it and I thought I'd change my shoes just in case and while doing that I changed into
running
shorts.

NRC 10k Plan 3 weeks to go: 10k Headstarts aka ⭐️ 10k Run at last! ⭐️
I thought I’d head out and see with the aim of
running
anywhere between about 3 and 10k. I loaded up Coach B’s 10k Headstarts just in case. That proved to be a good decision. As I left the house it started raining. Typical since it had been bright sunshine all morning.

My life is pretty much back to normal, work full time and busy as ever Fitness wise,
running
, cycling and walking but still not really pushing myself to the limit as I used to when racing as I thought I would give it a year to build up my fitness.

After almost 3 years: W8
I'd also like to keep on
running
during autumn, which is usually the time I slowly stop. So I will stick around the forum to see what people say :-) Happy

A long one…
As you know, in my fantasies, the pinnacle of
running
for me is ‘zen
running
’. In this longed for state where all is harmony and balance, heart rates don’t matter, but if you were to check, it would probably be in the 60-70% of her max HR, aka Zone 2. She doesn’t care, of course.

Resting a bit too much in my taper...
Might have overdone it on my 20 mile training run - the last long run of my marathon plan because I soon realised my right quad pain was lasting a bit longer than the usual day or two and it has prevented me from
running
this week.

a sunny 8km
I had an 8km planned as I’m
running
the 10k part of the Great West Run next week. The weather was absolutely lovely and I ended up
running
just over 8km which is the furthest I’ve ever ran. I am pleased to be
running
next week despite the fact it should’ve been a half marathon.

Rosuvatatin fatigue
Last year i was
running
15 miles no problem and after my stents had got back to
running
7 miles ok. Has anyone else had an experience with rosuvastatin?

York 10k - My 1st event.
I felt amazing after finishing and very proud of myself as I have never been a runner, I always thought I’d hate it, told myself I’d be no good at it etc and only started
running
last October. I was 60 this year and it was a promise I made to myself to quit the booze and start

Restart Progress 8 - Gremlins Still Around
Covered the grand total of 2.8km, and believe it or not, I increased speed during the 5 minute warm down - slow
running
is good.

2nd outdoor run and less ack!
Instead of it taking me 4 miles of stop and go to get in 2 miles of
running
, today I was able to get in 2miles of
running
within 3 miles total. I only stopped twice to walk a bit during the 2
running
miles. I still have a ways to go, but I definitely feel better.

Week 5 run 1
Trying to get
running
back into my routine but must admit its tough. Achy legs and I have only run max of 5 minutes. Determined to keep going really want to get to that 30 minute goal and have a go at our local Park Run.

Week 5 Done!!! ssshhhh... don't tell Mr Fate
I was just falling in love with
running
(something I never thought I'd say!) when a horrid dose of covid and then nerve problems in my neck stopped play.Since then I've started week 1 again, twice, but recurring issues have come along and burst my bubble.

Twitching running eye...
Yesterday it was watering and
running
all morning. Think it might be dry eye. It's not like the usual twitching I get where you can actually see the lid moving, it's like a milder version! It's causing my health anxiety to go into overload today hence the post!

10k Monday bluebell run out on the trails…🏃♀️🙂
. 🙂
Running
along the trails, following the deer prints, spotting a beautiful Jay and with the woods now full of bluebells - this is where I find my happy place! ❤️ 🏃♀️ The weather was (mostly) dry and a mixture of sunshine and cloud - perfect
running
weather.

London Marathon 2024 Fundraising!
However, with the MPN family support I managed to excel both athletically and academically and I want to thank the whole MPN family by
running
the London Marathon this year in aid of MPN voice.

Week 3 completed
By the end of the last run when SarahM said that I’d run for two mins and had one left I could feel my legs getting heavier and I had just started
running
on a slight incline 😣 but I managed it and we move on.
