Hooray - it’s finally fun!
As someone who once loved
running
, but have been off with injuries and illness for 4-5 years, and found the programme really tough, I am ecstatic to have found the fun again. I know there will always be good and bad runs, but it has been so long since my last truly joyful one.

Happy Week 1 January Questers.
Have to give credit to Yesletsgo and HU for setting the quest as I probably wouldn't have kept up the
running
at this time of year without it. Ran just shy of 6K today and 5K on Monday, so have fulfilled my quest to do 2 runs a week.

It's a funny old game, this running lark.
Don't know how it happened, but it sure felt transcendental 🙂 I guess I won't quit this
running
lark just yet lol

Slipped/herniated disc rehab
The gym, boxing,
running
and the rest. Obviously this had a profound effect on my mental health as I couldn’t do anything and felt as if I’d have it forever. So I’m intrigued to hear everyone else’s experiences and story’s on the matter!

I love
running
past people who are walking down to the train station....😄 I feel like super woman! Just need to plan better routes as I keep head back too soon.

Raising funds - Brighton Marathon places
Maybe your town has a local
running
club you could send this message on to. Maybe someone you work with is a keen runner and wants to do a marathon. Obviously we have covered entry fees and will provide
running
vests with PAS on.

So all of these have occured whilst I've been hungover and engaging in some sort of physical activity (
running
, biking etc.) and have lasted for about a minute and a half and haven't caused any lasting injuries. Aside from this epilepsy I am generally very fit and active.

I’m cheating with “white”?
But finally got on my indoor rower today, hooked it up to my Zwift
running
and walking avatar and happily managed 30 min of rowing! And I saw a white virtual mountain in the virtual landscape! Does that count for “white”? I’ll just say it does! It’s the best I could do this week!

Running
with joy! The name of my NRC guided run. Oh I just have to make this one special. A quick warm up walk to get past shops and crossings & then into a very slow paced run, a gentle transition from the walk. No heavy legs for me today!

It was an accident Your Honour!
I've decided I could train on the trails, the bumpy
running
should build a bit of strength. So went online to buy trail shoes. And thats where the problem started, you see. I bought the trail shoes.

Friday calling! Lots of pompoms needed this weekend for our VRBs 🥳🎽👟
Well, this is going to be a bumper pompom wave weekend as we have a flurry of VRBs meeting up,
running
up a storm and, no doubt, getting together afterwards for food, drink and merriment.

Burnout and BP
I have been
running
about like a headless chicken from one crisis to another for years I have been experiencing symptoms of stress/burnout. For a long time. My under active thyroid has gone very low, so have Vitamin D and folates. I feel totally burnt out and feel like my body has hit rock bottom.

Back on that horse
My bike managed to get me home, but it was two weeks before I was putting on the
running
shoes again! Happily, I can report that yesterday's run was shortish and uneventful. I'm back in the saddle! A flamboyance of flamingoes!
