I have been really wanting to
quit
smoking
for some time now. I know people who have
quit
cold turkey and it's worked great for them. I feel like I've tried that but it keeps me going to the store to buy more. i really want to do this for myself to feel good again.

3 weeks is tough
I
quit
smoking
10 years ago. Started to e-cig two years ago. It’s my third week since I quit e-cig. Still having serious nicotine withdrawal. Is this normal ?

Miracle Champix
My will power was nonexistent where
smoking
was concerned. I rang the
quit
line and a lovely guy suggested Champix. So the old saying you quit when you're ready I believe doesn't apply. Over the last year I started the occasional smoke... Whammy a family tragedy and back to smoking 15+ a day.

Stopped on the 1st of January - quitting was ok, but only because I’ve limited what I do. But normal life beckons...
I
quit
on the 1st of January after 23 years of
smoking
😱. Obviously I know I’m still in very early days. I haven’t chosen to use any nicotine replacement therapys yet. Fortunately I never was a heavy smoker, but I just want to be free from this disgusting habit now.

Day 9
(Day 9 of cold turkey and not smoked 72 fags). I’ve got 9 days under my belt now, and although I’m not even halfway done yet, it’s still good. Today's been a bit rough. One of those days when all you feel is stress, anger and frustration. I am not used to handling those emotions without a fag. Had

5 Day non-smoker & Feel A Mess
I started experiencing dizziness before I
quit
smoking
and found the doctor believes I have a bad case of vertigo. This dizziness hits hard and honestly scares the crap out of me. Nothing helps, and when I spin the anxiety kicks in. I feel as though I’m on a merry go round and can’t get off.

Breathing symptoms
When I was about 57, I went through a divorce and started
smoking
again. Now I'm 60, and I finally
quit
again. It's been about 1 month. Now I'm feeling short of breath, wheezing at times, and kind of feeling a nervousness in my chest.

Does smoking affect the result of IVF?
Although, my husband can not
quit
smoking
. He tries, but so far it is not possible for him to do this, I do not know what to do. I'm worried that all our failures are from smoking. Although, many people say that it does not have a strong influence.

Anyone can refer any remedies besides meds
I already know the other stuff such as exercising which I don’t have the stamina for at the moment I just
quit
smoking
my lungs aren’t in the best shape yet and I have a injury to my lower back, neck, and left shoulder from a car accident and finally will be doing at least one round of steroid injections

Truth is I hadn't craved a cig for that split second since I
quit

New to the group
So, I'm in the middle of my 14th week today! I feel absolutely amazing but I'm not going to lie, it's been one of the hardest things I've ever had to do but also one of the biggest accomplishments I've ever achieved! I picked up my first cig at 15yrs old and been at it for a little over 16 years at

Muscle pain in left side of neck
My sister
quit
smoking
about 3 years ago and now for the past 2 months she has a muscle pain in left side of her neck, the doctor sent her to a physical therapist and stiff muscle is still there but the pain is a bit less. The pain increases if the neck is turned but manageable.

6 weeks!
I wish my dad was alive to see me
quit
. He passed last year from cancer caused by
smoking
and before he passed told me "I expect you to
quit
". Well, I did! I hit 6 weeks on Monday. It's nice because my week rollover day for the pregnancy is also on Monday so I am now 11 weeks pregnant!
