Anyway, I quit drinking soda around 10 days ago so I wake up with headaches, but it's no different than when I
quit
smoking
or before I
quit
as I have a history of headaches/migraines. I'm trying to readapt my body to good things. It is hard to do, but little by little I am accomplishing it.

Tobacconists Anonymous. I fondly remember the local tobacconists: wooden barrels smelling of musky joy, a continuous flame for lighting, even the wooden indian. It's now a clothing store, but with a brass plaque engraved with the Ode to Tobacco. So much mystical ritual and nostalgia surrounds tobacco

Mind you I was on chantix to
quit
smoking
and about 2 1/2 months in I was having all the side affects along with I did stop smoking which didn't last too long. So I'm just scared that it may make me worse then better.

Newbie - Still trying to quit smoking
I joined NHS Choices
quit
smoking
recently. I contacted the local
quit
support group only to be told that I live outside their area. The hospital have given me the contact details of their own
quit
smoking
helpline for when I'm ready to try again. So here I am. Looking for more help and support.

PBC and Cigarettes
I
quit
2 years ago. I read that they think
smoking
could be a contributing factor to PBC.

Quitting Cannabis and Vivid Nightmares/Dreams
Hello everyone, I
quit
smoking
marijuana and oils about 3 months ago, and starting about 2 months ago I began having super vivid dreams and nightmares every night, usually 4-8 dreams a night, and most of them are not pleasant.

I am currently trying to
quit
smoking
, yet losing weight is something I want to work on more and that could come after or during! I am an extremely fussy eater! I eat no fish or salad! The only veg I eat are carrots and peas and fruit wise I only really eat grapes.

Had been incredibly stupid and carried on
smoking
like a fool throughout.nearly killed me.
Quit
smoking
it's been 3 months and I've smashed it,don't miss it and won't go back, not bad considering been smoking 40 plus a day for forty years.

Stopping Vaping to Nicorette Inhalator
I went today and joined the
smoking
cessation to
quit
vaping and to get on the nicorette inhalator for the 12 week course. Hopefully doin this 12 week course will now get me off the nicotine altogether. Simply because ive now realised i have substituted the cigs with the vape.

Have lost 1 1/2 stone through dieting (and minor loss of appetite) and

Chronic fatigue
Hey everyone, I
quit
smoking
cannabis after 5 years of everyday use two and a half months ago. I'm on day 75 now. I am constantly tired! I mean so tired I am unable to do the things that i want i just have to lay around, is this a withdrawal symptom? has anyone else experienced this?

7 days in, cold turkey, and I feel weird. Like my brain is in a fog.
I
quit
smoking
and drinking last Sunday morning at 3 AM after a wedding and have been doing alright. I smoked 15 years, a pack a day and had been making good progress until that darn wedding.

Almost 1 year on...
By week 7 I decided to
quit
smoking
. I noticed for the first time it was making me out of breath and realized it was holding me back so it had to go. It wasn't as bad as I had feared it might be and I think running helped so much with that. I was so excited to complete w9.

Tolerable pain, horrible brain
GP also told me to loose weight as I am significantly overweight - I have lost 1 1/2 stone over the past two months and
quit
smoking
(with nicotine patches & lozenges) on 20th September.
