My latest labs are bizarre. Any ideas?
I
quit
smoking
soon after, and ever since then, I can't get my TSH under control. The closest it's been to normal is a 4.7 about three months back, which was just under the top of the normal range according to my GP's receptionist.

3 months smoke free
I thought once I
quit
smoking
I’d feel great. Now I can barely walk a block. I’m glad I found this forum to know I’m not alone. Sometimes I think I should just go back to
smoking
. I
quit
because I had developed a deep nagging cough and wheezing but I was never short of breath like this.

To quote Pharrell Williams....
In April I
quit
smoking
after 30 years, my blood pressure is now normal. I’ve lost weight, I am happier in myself. And today I RAN nearly 6km. So yes, YOU CAN! Good luck and bring on week 9 :-)

6 Months and counting
I
quit
smoking
cold turkey. I still think about the struggles of quitting, but it gets easier each and everyday. I wanted to thank all of the past posters to this site. I use it a lot for motivation and a sanity check from time to time. I appreciate each of you, you literally saved my life.

Stop Boozing
Well now that's it's been a year and a bit since quitting
smoking
, my next challenge is to
quit
drinking. I don't have a drinking problem (well I don't think I do), but it has become a routine and giving up smoking has spurred me on to give this a try to see what benefits I can get out of it.

Couch to 5K
just started this week, age 61, managed to
quit
smoking
in january which was a struggle, but decided to give this a go. Didn't help that my phone had paused the app, and what should have been sixty second run, felt like an eternity until I realised.

Happy Update 🌝
I
quit
smoking
in May. So I am not sure if improvements are from drug or my body. I may need to go clean for a time and see.

Afib & cardioversion
I was first diagnosed with AFib several years ago, ironically after I
quit
smoking
and lost nearly 100 lbs. Converted rather quickly with metoprolol and amiodarone. Its now returned ànd the drugs have not converted it to normal sinus rhythm and are wanting to do an electro- cardioversion.

Introduce myself to group
I recently
quit
smoking
, I’m on that forum too, and it’s been rough, not the quitting, the withdrawal. I cannot distinguish the withdrawal from my disease, anxiety/depression, same thing happens when I’m ill.

Antidepressant Trouble
I started taking Wellbutrin about a month ago for depression, anxiety and
smoking
cessation. I’ve been able to
quit
smoking
but can’t deal with feeling so tired all the time. My doctor suggested taking it at night to see if it helps with being tired during the day.

Freaking out!!!
I did everything that google and people said I should do before IVF like avocados, coconut water, beetroot juice, pomegranate juice,
quit
smoking
and alcohol and yet we had only 3 blastocysts out of 13 eggs!! Don’t know if any of that worked.

Once in a lifetime challenge!
I am nearly 50,
quit
smoking
, gone on a diet, joined a gym and am determined to get healthier. SO I am now challenging myself with the C25K WHICH IS HUGE for me. My best friend and I skived the school cross country run to smoke (!), that's how impossible it was. This year i walked 5k for charity.
