Hubby smoker
I gave up in 2008 diagnosed with copd soon after. Did have a couple of blips on the way. But finally gave up. Hubby kept saying he would give up he's not allowed to smoke in the house which thought would help me. But last year I was taken into hospital twice and I think it was the wake up call he needed

Lamictal and/or Ambilify — Irritability?
I’m also finding myself wanting to start
smoking
again — after having
quit
over four months ago. Both the irritability and drinking concern me. Maybe mores the drinking since I’m trying to reduce my weight and A1c. I was diagnosed as being on the customer of pre-diabetic back in June.

Emphysema and Hypochondria
The original (ER) doctor told me to
quit
smoking
to stay off oxygen when I'm 80, and a general practitioner said I am 'more moderate than mild'. I was diagnosed with an x-ray and verified with CT.

Non-Smokers don’t understand. The quitting battle for me!
I decided to
quit
smoking
July 28 2018 after 15 years and a one pack a day habit. On July 28th, I quit cold turkey!!! The first 3 days were all mental -crazy cravings and avoiding all triggers (didn’t drive for 3 days, driving was my time to smoke!!).

A lot has changed and I'm not sure what to do
This all started when my granddad decided to
quit
smoking
. He had to take medicine in order to do this. He was once a generally happy person, and he didn't get upset at all really. However, when he stopped smoking and got on his meds, he became irritable and easy to upset towards some people.

Hi all, I’ve been taking Champix for 14 days now and don’t feel any urge to
quit
smoking
. I know it’s not a miracle pill or nicotine replacement and I understand that it still takes some will power but feel as though I’m just going to have to go cold turkey so to speak.

Alone and struggling
The only positive thing in my life lately is that I
quit
smoking
but am now addicted to the nicotine gum and my pharmacy will only be giving me one more box for free. I don’t want to smoke again but it’s really hard quitting even with the gum.

Mornings
Since I
quit
smoking
, 2 months in, it has worsened. My stomach becomes knotted and I get a bit shaky. I get out of bed, not feeling well. Typically, as my day progresses I feel a bit better. I’m retired at an early age and have found things to keep myself busy.
