just started this week, age 61, managed to quit smoking in january which was a struggle, but decided to give this a go. Didn't help that my phone had paused the app, and what should have been sixty second run, felt like an eternity until I realised.

Perhaps the hottest day of the year wasnt ideal either, nevertheless, I will persevere.

Welcome. Run one in heat and possibly ran too long... sounds like you’re gonna love this. Well done

Well done for starting, and for quitting smoking too!

There's a great post in the pinned posts, if you haven't seen it yet, called FAQ Post - how to run C25K.

I only discovered this site in Wk 7 and it's been such a support and great source of info and inspiration since (I graduated just yesterday 😎🎉🥂).

I believe a lady in her 80s graduated last year so age is just a number 😁

Keep it slow and steady, it's not about any distance just running at a gentle pace that suits you🏃

Wow good on you! To quit smoking is amazing and you’re getting fit too. I’ve just done the same with the pausing as I dropped my phone on my first 25min run 🏃‍♀️ 😤 keep going!
