“It might seem crazy what I’m about to say, but I’m happy now!” 😎. After the laborious effort that was W8R1 on Tuesday, today was the complete opposite; W8R2 was 5.7km of pure fun. The first time since I was at school that I have run more than 5km non-stop.
Apart from the personal sense of achievement, I also wanted to offer some words of encouragement to anyone who is struggling or thinking “I can’t”. In April I quit smoking after 30 years, my blood pressure is now normal. I’ve lost weight, I am happier in myself. And today I RAN nearly 6km. So yes, YOU CAN! Good luck and bring on week 9
