Who would have thought?
My daily
cycling
of 25 to 30 km has been reduced to the odd day of 6 -8km since those 2 accidents which stopped my
cycling
for 20 weeks😪😪 this caused me to regain 1 of the 3 stones in weight lost which you guys gave me the support at the time to loose!

TBI and complete 3rd nerve palsy after a cycling accident in August 2020
So I'm fairly new to this world and thought it would be good to share my story and hopefully connect with others in a similar situation. Nice to meet you all! 🧠👋 On 3rd August 2020, I went out for a solo cycle for some exercise. Unfortunately I didn't make it home that day and instead ended up in hospital

A showery and windy day today
I walked into our city centre, might take longer than
cycling
but much safer in the strong winds. I only got caught in one very brief shower this morning but a couple of heavy ones on my way back this afternoon which I didn't mind as at least I was on my way back home.

Wet feet, a ford and first 10k
I put on my (
cycling
) waterproof socks and set off hopefully. I suppose that it is obvious when you think about it that fords are in valleys and valleys can be steep.

What do you think caused your CPPS or Pudendal Neuralgia?
Cycling
, surgery, stress, something else? It’s only since reading up on CPPS have I realised just how much I was clenching my butt without even realising I was doing it, now I’m aware I have to consciously relax that area.

After some advice
Cycling
steadily it goes up to 175 without any effort. I have spoken to GP for a referral but not heard much yet. I have started to get a bit of pain, more discomfort really, do I need to be worried?

Who on this forum can drink 5 litres of petrol ?....
I just saw a bloke
cycling
down the road with his hands tied behind his back. I don't know who he was but his face rang a bell. . .Mahatma Gandhi walked barefoot everywhere, to the point that the skin on his feet became quite thick and hard. He also was quite a spiritual person.

Losing weight is difficult with Endo! Anyone else experienced this?
I’ve been walking,
cycling
, running, HIIT, and while I have lost around 7 pounds I just can’t seem to lose any more. I’m technically classed as obese for my height. I’ve been tracking my food on my fitness pal. I’m being honest about what I’m eating/drinking and tracking my exercise properly.

Ramipril and amlodipine?
Over the last year I've lost 4 stone in weight, don't eat salty or processed foods, walk about 3 miles each day with the dogs, about to start
cycling
again, don't know what else to try. Maybe it's because I'm old, 66?

Running in the rain
So I pulled on the trusty Ghosts, donned my lightweight
cycling
waterproof and off I went. I got lots of smiles from other soggy runners on the canal - I even got the respectful nod at one point 🤣🤣🤣. It rained relentlessly - in fact it hasn't stopped all day.

Well working from home stopped my
cycling
commute and the odd 1 hour ride at a weekend was just not enough to stop the odd few pounds being added during lockdown. So I started running in July and got to 5k by mid August.

7k! Beautiful day - minimal pain - very happy
And cyclists wearing the race t-shirt, carrying water etc, trailing the runners (in
cycling
lingo- SAG). There were also huge packs of bike teams on the trail, but they didn't appear to be racing.

What is the difference between spirometry and peak flow?
I got it after I had to lie down and rest one day I was out
cycling
- I’m a fair weather cyclist and I’ve since discovered I hyperventilate when I cycle up hills - I try to breathe at the same speed my legs are going round at when I’m in a low (?) gear. Which doesn’t work.

Breathing exercises against the Ache, exhaustion, feverishness & breathlessness
While
cycling
I’m also holding my breath and practicing very deep breaths, feeling how my lungs are become ‘bigger and bigger’. As soon as I feel the need for more breath, I do some of these, as I feel necessary. I often hunger for more oxygen, but now I know what do do.

Bipolar
Hypomania and rapid
cycling
I think luckily without psychosis so far. That’s what’s up with me. Anyone have bipolar and experienced this at all I’d love to hear how you manage. I’m doing great right now but the highs and lows may get more intense and I am in the process of making a plan.

NHS Aerobics video for beginners with Leigh
But even in my fitter days, I have to admit that my exercise was solely through a lot of
cycling
and tennis, with a bit kayaking and climbing thrown in.

14 week old with restless legs
I have a 14 week old and for the past two months, she has been waking at around 4am and
cycling
her legs back and forth. It seems that she gets woke up,tries to go back to sleep and can't and the legs start
cycling
. She then gets more upset as she becomes more awake.

Nerve pain?
I have just started
cycling
6mg / 5.5mg for about a week now - after being on 6 for two months I was also called back from furlough by my company at the beginning of September - for 3 days a week - although it generally lands up being 4. So lots of computer work.
