Dave is on the road again, wearing different clothes again...
More or less a week on the IC, due to a pulled muscle in my back, coinciding with a 5 day twinning visit of Mr JCR's London
cycling
club with his Italian one.

Newbie needs advice . In regards to dri-fit
Been trying to find if there's anything like dri-fit underwear , not the boxer short or
cycling
short type but more of the brief type. Have tried swimming trunks but chave after a while. Even considering going without...? But think in doing so may offend the women in the group...

How do I 'read' my results & adjust my diet & life?
I started
cycling
again over the summer but with the tiredness not done it lately. Thought the tiredness was down to the Champix I've taken for the last few weeks as also stopped smoking which is cool.

PMR blood test results due tomorrow
Hello I'm 72 and until 4 weeks ago was
cycling
regularly, mountain hiking, swimming and visiting a trainer weekly. I skied 7 weeks last season. Over the last few weeks my joints and muscles have become very stiff and painful, starting with pelvic area, hips, shoulders and neck.

Didn't manage it 😞
Thinking I'll have to adjust my schedule now as my son can't cope
cycling
in silence for 25 minutes (fair enough!). Can the programme be completed successfully on 2 runs a week? Or could I do 2 runs as scheduled then repeat one week 6 run with walk breaks which he could accompany me on?

Road to recovery
I try to go once a week on my own too as well as walking and
cycling
around town. I'm working / volunteering part time at the moment. I'm wondering what other people's experience of recovery is.

Difference between cycling and running
I cycled 6.5K on a route that I have run many times before - usually when I run this, it is only a slow easy jog as there are some hills. I would normally log an average heart rate of around 136 for this route - but for the bike ride, I only maxed at 136 and averaged 109. Conclusion - riding a bike is

Overtreat and overactive Thyroid
For 5 months ive been eating between 1300 and 1500 calories and
cycling
every second day for 5 to 10 miles and the other days I'm on my cross trainer and doing weights and sit ups. Not a single ounce or pound gone! I do feel for you who are battling and suffering such dreadful effects.

Very confused!
Love
cycling
and and asthma has never really affected my activities. My peak flow is good. I have some triggers such as smoke, allergies and stress but my asthma attacks were never severe and never been to hospital for asthma.

Living with vegetarians
I've done some
cycling
and dog walking, but exceptional rainy weather has kept me from getting out as much as I would have liked, though I do keep on my feet everyday working at restoring vintage bicycles. My problem on several occasions I've been violently sick with diorrea.

Did it - graduation run at the park with extra cycling!
Well I did it - graduation and first park run
cycling
there and back. Now cup of tea and to face university registration. At the open event in July, someone asked me if I was there with my son or daughter! Thanks for the encouragement - did the whole lot running and think under 35 minutes.

Morning routine
Because I enjoy rowing and I'll stay focus, I noticed it's cooler now and needed a jumper
cycling
down. Once I got on the bike the feeling of staying home didn't last long. I noticed a rainbow where the rowing club is and had to take this picture.

T3 / hypothyroidism and exercise
I really like to exercise and do a lot of HIIT, running,
cycling
, gym classes etc. The problem I'm finding is that I'm very tired and also I get sick quite regularly. Does anyone here have any tips if you like to exercise and want to continue and not lose too much energy.

Mavis & Colin's story...
Mavis begins:" Colin and I met at a dancehall, we used to go dancing a lot as well as
cycling
, especially after we brought a tandem when we were courting. Dad gave us a lovely wedding. That was in May 1960.
