Summer is back π
It was good to see so many family groups walking and
cycling
together. A farmer was harvesting his field on the other side of the hedge and I was glad I had my sunglasses on to protect my eyes from dust in the air.

Beautiful sunflowers! π»π»π»
Decided to keep going into the next village, under the railway bridge and onto a newly made
cycling
route where I saw these beautiful flowers π At the end of the new track I turned around and retraced my steps, upping the pace just a bit.

Very surprised newbie
Had a great hour of
cycling
and felt great. That was until arrived back home and went to open my garage door and began to feel very dizzy. Cup of tea later it went away so great I thought . Next day took my wife shopping and relaxed for the day. Felt great.

Cycling with COPD
I was diagnosed with COPD about 10 years ago and it has, as expected, got worse over time. I also have ME/CFS which means I tire very easily when trying to exercise. Also kidney cancer which will all add to the tiring factor. I couldn't ride a normal bike but wondered if anybody had tried one of the

New NAD+ boosting supplement designed to improve cellular bioavailability by modulating enzyme activities
v=iAzUnKyLQds Some of the enzymes involved have interesting activities apart from NAD+
cycling
, but they may not be the ones that show 'high betweenness'. Too bad they couldn't show the slides in the video.

Osteoporosis and HRT for the over 60s
I am normally fit and healthy and do a lot of
cycling
and walking. I have come across the view that HRT is a good treatment for OP even (some say especially) for the over 60s. I know of others who have been prescribed it at my age.

Cycling
is allowed and I'm doing lots of that (over 300k in June - first
cycling
for about 8 years!), but I've also finally started some seated routines as suggested by UNM (thank you! I didn't know these things existed).

After spending 3 1/2 weeks
cycling
down from the Zoloft which sure wasn't any fun I finally started on another anti-depressant called Mirtazapine. I should have taken the tablet at night as it knocked me out and I spent the next few hours sleeping. I now know why it is also used for insomnia.

Advice on running watches
Iβve read that HR monitors are more accurate round your chest than on your wrist, and I already have a Garmin HR monitor, for
cycling
(I had to stop
cycling
seriously because of injury, which is why I ended up running). So ideally I want a watch that I can use with my existing kit.

Short Runs
So I just went and ran - I picked up a bit of litter and put it in a bin - I kicked some branches from the path as I would be
cycling
that way later. I just generally pootled about and I loved it. Now the runs are getting longer it's nice to have that shorter run.

Week 9 Run 1 - just the wrong time to get knee pain!
I'm restricting my exercise to more gentle forms (walking and
cycling
), but neither of them give the mood-enhancing buzz of running.

If you hate swimming,
cycling
, etc. it may well be counter-productive to force yourself to do it. But I would just like to add that it may be worth your while to get some tuition - you're much more likely to enjoy doing something if you are better at doing it! Have a great week!!

C25K Completed!
I have just completed the C25K :-) I have not done any significant exercise throughout my adult life beyond a lot of walking, a very little bit of leisure
cycling
and occasionally having to rush to catch a train.

I haven't ran for well over a year though, most of my exercise has been walking long distances and
cycling
a few times a month. I plan on running outside in my neighbourhood parks to practice for the 5K. I look forward to receiving some advice! :)

What is up with this?
An ever
cycling
up and down? All within a day or even an hour? Whatβs up with this? This is me most every day. I can feel so bad and think my life is over. Then boom I feel inspired then boom again what the heck was I thinking?
