Obviously this would not be meant for those wishing to participate in contact sports (Rugby, American Football), but to help those who participate in non contact sports where they could potentially hurt themselves (Football/Soccer, Basketball,

how much exercise are you doing?
I’m trying to do some form of exercise each day, alternating between jogging and
cycling
. I’m not a spring chick but enjoying it. Curious to know how much people are doing to loose slowly each week. 😍

Depths of Despondency
Anyway I shall continue with the exercises and the
cycling
(can do that all day and not get any pain) and try for a short gentle run a bit later in the week. I just worry that as my runs are getting shorter, the way things are going I shall soon struggle to get to the end of the road!

Having completed LEJOG06 and had a fab time doing COGH, I had to find something which would allow me to add my
cycling
kms (as that's part of the knee maintenance programme).... Now I’ll slink off to the IC, await progress with diagnosis… and dream of running again sometime!

DVT in leg after cycling too much
Hi succumbed to the male ego and over did a charity cycle without adequate preparation. Upshot I ended up with DVT behind my knee joint. It’s been 6 months now and walking is fine but if I try to cycle it’s uncomfortable. So still taking the Rivaroxoban. Anybody had similar experience ? Just wondering

Wrap/Doppler
I have secondary lymphoedema in my left leg .... resulting from damage caused by a
cycling
accident some years ago. It does not result in an enormous build-up, but the problem progresses slowly. I find a wrap very useful along with lots of leg elevation and some MLD .... self-administered.

Dilated cardiomyopathy
I am just wondering if this is dangerous as I have taken up
cycling
to work which is nearly 7 miles here and 7 miles back? Just wanted some reassurance I am not causing any longer damage Thanks

Once the pools are open again, is swimming/aqua aerobics a good thing to do or
cycling
if I feel safe enough?

Missing my beloved cat
I keep
cycling
through a number of emotions like heart-wrenching sadness, anger, desperation... I've really been having a hard time with enough things in my life lately but this, this has hit me harder than anything else.

I eat healthily and am fit, healthy, not overweight and do a lot of walking and
cycling
. I cannot seem to narrow down what the trigger is to make it come back.

First runniversary
Some of the new paths I wanted to take were a bit too long for me, but
cycling
to the start expanded my range. Gradually I made it through the C25k milestone runs, finally making it to that magic 30, just squeezing in 5k by the skin of my teeth in W9R3.

Back running again! Finishing week 3 today :)
I was told it was chondromalacia patella and advised to start up daily
cycling
to build up my leg muscles, and was also referred to a podiatrist. So got myself an exercise bike (brilliant piece of kit!!) and went to the podiatrist who prescribed some insoles.

Budge up (please) - is there room for me on the IC?
Absurdly I even get a buzz from seeing my running kit hanging out with Mr JB and son’s running/
cycling
gear! Add YWA since the start of the year, completing LEJOG6 with my dog, and a couple of virtual 10ks… YAY I’ve joined the fit gang!! But now what?

The London Triathlon - roseabi's review 🤩
It took me about 3 hrs 20 minutes to complete the triathlon, I'll definitely be back to beat that 😁 The moral of this story is, if you can do a bit of swimming,
cycling
, and running and you fancy having a go at a triathlon - just do it, it’s AWESOME!!!!!!!

The most PATRONISING doctor EVER!
He then kept blaming my cough on the
cycling
, even though I told him I took a whole year off
cycling
and training and the symptoms kept happening. made me feel like my symptoms were psychosomatic and he implied that seeing all the specialist is stressing me out.
