How can a GP help with weight loss?
On the news, for example, the government said that they would encourage GPs to ‘prescribe’
cycling
to overweight people. Does anyone have any experience of ideas of how a GP can help? Many thanks :)

Intermittent Fasting/Time Restricted Eating
That's not really fasting, it's calorie
cycling
. Edit: it could be fasting, if you kept the calories to one or two meals a day, and fasted 16 or more hours. * Dirty fasting: where you allow yourself a small amount of calories and artificial sweeteners, eg broth, cream, lemon in water etc.

(Not) parkrun/Virtual 5K
I have not ran since last Saturday but have been
cycling
and walking some beautiful Forrest trails and beaches. I’m going to run 5K this morning on my own. I’m looking forward to it. I’ll just run 2.5K away from the hotel and 2.5K back again. If the tides out I’ll do some of it down on the beach.

4-and-a-bit-month Post Ablation Update
So last week in the first few days I did weights/yoga/pilates/e-
cycling
and a tiny row and a brisk walk. TOO MUCH. Been really tired until today which is six days later. Have to learn to pace myself better. BUT really it's all good.

Severe OCD with major depression
Currently, I am
cycling
through an episode of severe OCD and major depression. SSRi's have worked in the past but aren't effective anymore. I have great support and work with a ERP therapist as well. I would like some feedback from those who have suffered with OCD and MDD.

Seed Cycling?
Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well. Has anyone heard of or tried this? It is meant to boost fertility levels....

What works for me
The medication only worked for a short period of time, but one night I noticed that my legs were not covered by the bedclothes AND, I was not experiencing any sensation or
cycling
. The next night I left my legs uncovered and the same thing happed again.

Week 3 complete - run 3 was tough
I have also been
cycling
a bit this week with my eldest which could explain why I am a bit more reluctant to run today and I also went out this morning a bit later than normal and it was already much warmer than I have been used to. Anyhow, I persevered, kept going and didn’t stop.

Lost in familiar places
As I’m getting near to the point where I’ll cross between reservoirs, I look right and see someone
cycling
about 20 meters away on the other side of the wall, so I go to investigate.

Suspected Peroneal Tendon Injury
I was initially gutted as I was one week off getting my 60 minute badge but I have used the time wisely to improve my
cycling
. The good news is that I have no swelling and can walk pain free for most of the time.

Mini Pill Advice re. Side effects
I have recently been put on the progestogen-only mini pill after 12 years of
cycling
the contraceptive implant (Nexplanon). I needed a contraceptive for a shorter period of time than the 3 years these last.

Buying a bike
Wow what a fantastic pastime, go
cycling
in the countryside and bonking, right up my street😂 I started to use sis gels, worked well, instant carbs but the good kind. Only 80cals. If you run with another person you can share as there’s plenty.

September Blood Cancer Awareness Month
Try a new/different exercise and do it every day for 30 minutes, or a different one every day for the whole of September, examples are: yoga; Pilates;
cycling
; running, and ask your family and friends to sponsor you. Or how about
cycling
from John O’Groats to Land’s End on your exercise bike!
