Hi Folks, today I had one of my many
cycling
rides which always includes a stop at a tea room where I know there will be other cyclists so it is also a good social event. Before setting off I diligently apply my factor 50 sunscreen to my face and today also my legs as I dared to wear shorts.

? For fellow BATmen on daro and androgen stimulation. Great Article
I came across this 2023 article and i think it poses a great outcome for us who are
cycling
high T and darolutamide. Am I correct that this article correlates positively with our BAT with Daro? I find this article extremely fascinating although it is complex.

Trimix Problems
After 8 months, that's close to the best I've come up with,
cycling
thru low dose to 40 units, high dose to 40 units, and I'm now at 45 units of bimix because the injection and post "erection" pain was so great.

If work-outs are the thing we should be doing, well, since last Wednesday, I have done a lot; most of it, not even remotely connected with running, walking,
cycling
or anything else! Furniture moving , (heavy oak furniture), lifting, loading, bending , stretching holding and fixing!

'The wheel is come full circle' - King Lear 5:3
It occurred to me that I had not reported back on my weekend of
cycling
. How remiss! Well here it is. Saturday was the sportive, with 37 miles including a couple of rather sharp Cotswold hills. However the challenge was Betty.

Back again Start from the beginning ??
Have been doing non- impact cardio (
cycling
, swimming) for 6 months so aerobically I’m not starting from complete scratch as it were) This morning I went out with the intention of finding a place to run. I’ve moved house last year so still getting to know the area.

Back to square one update
My swollen legs ar almost normal now, if stick thin , compared to my
cycling
legs. Still wobbly and unbalanced but improving. Trochanteric Bursitis seems to be the current impediment but I'm managing this. All in all I am hopeful and reducing again.

‘Wise and slow; they stumble that run fast’.
I will now be putting more hours into my
cycling
but will still be running to compliment the training. But no more half marathons, it is back to 5 and 10k events for me from now on.

Age, cycling (ebikes) and afib.

SWOLLEN FINGERS & BLEEDING AT THE CUTICLE?
Seemed to reach a point of excellent strength & fitness w/ my
cycling
& then "CRASHED"! Not literally, however, my Platelets shot back over the 1M marker, all sorts of weird RBCs emerged; WCCs crashed; LDH 500s+ & massive fatigue took hold... (?)

Slow recovery and set backs after angiogram and stent
On the Wednesday after a morning work and then
cycling
to an appointment to have my ears de waxed I felt really faint so I went to A&E who did the usual tests and could find nothing wrong so I went home. I took the next morning off and cycled to look at a new job.

My our Journey so far.
Not being able to do anything like the things I used to do physically or mentally, I was fit before this to a greater extent after the year before’s illnesses I was walking miles,
cycling
25 mile rides, and swimming 5 klms a week , still have some of the above issues anger, frustration, occasional nightmares

Annoyingly high heart rate
It’s a pain as I really want to start getting back into
cycling
( albeit only on a e-bike at this stage) but even a 5 min stint m( on a flat and hardly using any energy) my HR spiked up to 135 ( averaging out a bit lower once my Garmin does its thing ).

Lean muscle, raised metabolism and feeling warm all the time (further points added at the end)
Pilates and resistance training for me keeps my HR rate down under 120 bpm or zones 1 to 2 which is very gentle aerobic mainly fat burning and creates next to no cortisol- much as gentle walking or
cycling
does 5.

DAILY DIARY FOR w/b Monday 20 March 2023
Exercise
will be
cycling
to the shops and hauling the groceries home, then another cycle trip in the evening to my choir rehearsal and back. Fixing up a new curtain rail and hanging curtains. Gardening if it's a nice day and I have any time left.
