When do you start enjoying it? 🤓
I am in decent shape, I am a gym goer and do around 6 classes a week, including
cycling
, so I don't hate sports or cardio in general. I must admit: I run on the treadmill, maybe (hopefully) that is why I am not enjoying it? I really don't want to not like jogging, it's so beneficial!

Just starting
I have two Irish Setters who will love to run with me, we already walk around 10 miles a day, but I need to up my aerobic fitness, tried
cycling
but not really enamoured. Haven’t run since school days, and that was to get fit for hockey, so not sure how it’s going to go. Wish me luck!

Are there benefits to running/jogging compared to other exercise, cycling for instance?
I have just completed W7. Keep being told I shouldn't be running as its not good for knees, even if I didn't have an injury - which seems strange as the app is NHS!! I thought high impact exercise is good for maintaining or improving bone strength, especially for the older ones like me. I shall complete

How is everyone with PKD doing?
I was thinking of getting into exercise (which I am not a fan of) maybe gentle
cycling
(if that even exist)? and Yoga, which I have been trying to get to on my days off but can't. I spend 2 hours in traffic everyday, coming back from work.

Another non-runner runs for 30 minutes..
I started
cycling
and gained some fitness, but I was never a runner, I'm still overweight (BMI 27.5) , but my wife started Park Running again and I saw lots of people doing 5km Park runs and I thought, 'this is such a fantastic community activity, all free, administered by volunteers and making best

Hubby was out
cycling
and dogs were at home asleep after their long walk this morning ........they have the right idea. So ran through the village and across a field where a group of walkers were doing their thing. It was nice to see the autumnal colours. I love this time of the year !

Sporting events doctors sign off
Hello Mpn friends I’m looking to do a
cycling
holiday next year and noticed a lot require doctors sign off has anyone else had an experience of this with Pv or similar. I’m in good shape and cycle about 50-80 miles a week. So can’t see how my Pv would affect me. Thanks in advance.

I am quite active
cycling
and walking so stayed off them. This August/September had what I felt was 'cold' on the chest which resulted in me having a couple of nights with fast heart beat. So Doc., agreed to go on lowest dose of each.

It was so ridiculous
cycling
with a knee about 2 feet away from the bike. I was very disappointed as I thought that
cycling
would really help, but sadly it didn't (although who knows how badly I might have been without it to be fair).

No AF since I got my e-bike
I used to get a bout of AF about once a month and have previously reported that I could stop it by getting on my bike and
cycling
up a hill.

cycling
recreationally, if you are able to do so, then I'd recommend getting yourself an electric bike.

Exercise every day to enjoy (lengthen?) your honey moon
Yes, I also go to RockSteady (helped start a program in Mississippi) as well as a Peleton
cycling
and weights program. Fitbit is a wonderful tracking mechanism that I recommend (no financial interests). ???

Getting my HM plan in order! 😊
, I was then thinking of
cycling
up and down a little bit with the long run distances each week until the week of the race (with some drops back to 10k too). At this point I’m not considering going beyond the HM distance.

Low TSH, High normal T4, normal T3 = bloody knackered
This was initially better than just the Levo alone, I had enough energy to get back into
cycling
and get very fit again... however, it always felt like a fine line between being 'ok' and being burnt out and depressed, I can't say I've felt really consistently well for over 20years, more that I would

Proof for those that need it that running is good for you
Since then I've kept up the running three days a week, with walking and
cycling
other days and one chill-out/rest day.
